A summer field near a big lake in july, at dusk using zoom h4n recorder with built-in stereo mics. You can hear a quick fly buzz at 33 seconds in. You will also hear a boat in the distance towards the end. Great to enjoy with good headphones on.

I needed the sound of some keys that were put on a table. So i did the recording myself with a simple headset-mic. It's a very simple recording, hope you can work with it. The putting down was done in 3 different manners from quick to slow and picking them up again.

Three quick samples of the gear one mk1000 on kick (+ a single audio technica at2020 overhead on the rest of the kit). Recorded straight into a tascam us-1800 in a lousy room with a less-than-optimal 22" mapex kick drum. Each quick loop / snippet is 1) presented in mono / processed with compression and some eq (mostly a 6dbish scoop at around 300hz on the mk1000 and 80hz rolloff on the 2020 with about 5db less on the mk1000 than the 2020), then 2) presented exactly as recorded / no processing at all save normalization, mk1000 panned hard left channel, at2020 panned hard right. The first two samples are the mk1000 in the resonant head cutout, the third is the mk1000 positioned about 4" from the head and just about 2" from dead center of the drum.

I had been out on a field recording trip in sheffield and on my arrival home was struck by the vigour and volume of the birdsong in my garden so i made a quick recording of it while i had my portable pcm recorder to hand. This is a field recording, done using a zoom h6 with attached stereo mic. The limiter (general type) was activated on the channel. This is the raw recording without any eq or dynamics added. Here's some more of that young couple next door. They did a quick one, about 10 minutes or less. Sounds like they enjoyed it. Got some good loud sounds of the woman. There's a bit of the man too but hard to hear. The sex parts are from 1:45-4:40, 2:30 is when the woman starts to make loud moans. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

I needed a quick fix for a bomb sound effect, and i think i made this one okay. Honestly, i just went "pkhoooooo" into my laptop mic, bass boosted it, slowed it down, pitched it down, and ran it through a low-pass filter in audacity. It's a recording of a bicycle trip. A rather quick one. Gaining speed, bicycle wheels, chains, pedals, my breathing and cars passigng by are all audible. Some woman says "dzień dobry" in the background. The wind blows int the mics a bit. Recorded with a zoom h2, originally 96khz/24-bit wav, edited and normalized with audacity. I made this while hunting some thunder strikes (my bike'n'thunder series).

This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

The bass drum was generated using absynth 3, as well as the other instruments that follow it. Within the software, i simply just generated a quick drum patch (for myself), which i manipulated over and over till i got several varations. I just happened to choose this one for this loop. General techno-trance and suitable for almost any genre in electronica. The loop is set at standard 120bpm for easy manipulation.
