More than two centuries ago some extraordinary people put together documents recognizing what everyone knew: power and control by anyone other than one's self ends, stops, halts, wherever our noses begin. Or whatever part of the body happens to be foremost. Today, hell, it's "fuck that. Do what i say. ". We'll just see about that.

Boink. These are part of a set of "boink" samples i made using a nord micromodular randomly fming to itself. They're really useful for minimal or glitchy techno and tech house. In the spirit of hitting 10000 samples, i've got about 200 more of these, so if you like them get in touch and i can send some more. . .

#csd [collabo sound design]. Cuffh4tz (#csd 001). Smashing one part of the cuffz on the other one which lies on a wooden table. The wooden table was chosen to damp the signal and gives it a more solid sound. The chain between the cuffz adds a nice character to the sound. This library consists of 39 samples.

These samples come from a gakken sx-150, a small analogue synthesizer kit that was released in japan 2008 as part of the gakken hobby magazine series. The synth became very popular also outside of japan, mainly because it's a low-cost analogue synth with a great sound that offers lots of possibilities for circuit benders.

Just speeded up the whining to make it more urgent. Squealing drone that makes an i once used as intro if you just add some fade at the end. This is the sound of my alarm clock beeping. In my opinion, it's one of the worst alarm clock sounds in the world, with a horrible, grating alarm sound. Sorry about the part where i yell at my crew, and the dialogue about the shower curtain. Also when i say "yeah, bitches. " it had been a long day on set.

While doing sit-ups in my bedroom - i've discovered that the friction of my back with the floor makes hilarious "fart-like" sounds, in all kinds of variations. I grabbed my zoom h4n recorder - and recorded some. Good fart sounds are sometimes not so easy to find :). (this is file 1 of 2. Each was recorded in a different rec. Level. . . ).

This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by filtering or timestretching the files.

Heavy rain followed by a blast of thunder that 'rushes' away and fades. I've left enough room for an audio edit to fit your project. Enjoy. On playback, there seems to be a very high pitched 'tick' in places. This is not part of the original recording and is not included when 'downloaded'. I think this must be a slight fault on the web site.

The standard way of filling in this descending thirds pattern is to interpolate a first inversion chord in between each of these descents by thirds. The result is a bass line that moves down continuously stepwise, resulting in a figured bass of '5-6', and therefore, the standard descending 5-6 sequence.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. A simple chromatic sfx i made for a title screen. Can be used for power-ups, jumps or other ideas. Normally would strictly be an 8 bit sound, but with the reverb it can pass for something from the snes era. This is part one of two. The next file is the same thing with a higher pitch.

From a distance - sounds of a civil war reenactment. Ca. 1991 near portland or. Gunfire some canons and (rebel) yelling. This part gets cut off - sorry, this was back in the days of dat. Then more individual canon and gunfire with lots of natural reverb. Actually some of this is good for convolution if that's your thing. . . .
