A simple sine-generator piped through a slew of wacky effects automated with randomized lfos. I added some cabinet emulation to give it a 'living room' feel but left it dry enough to add additional stereo/reverb processing. P. S. It loops cleanly. Software: bitwig studio.

A processed audio of tropical cicadas during the evening (6 pm). A few background noises slipped and were unable to be removed during audio processing stage (around 2. 3 khz and bellow were removed). These tropical cicadas are active during the evening. These cicadas are able to produce calls above 2. 5 khz. This audio was recorded around 25-50m from the source.

This is a recording made in the living room of my apartment in the province of rieti in italy, while i am trying a nano drone that i bought at the troni shop, however, since this small drone is unfortunately a bit unmanageable even with the remote control, you can also hear some crashes, because this model goes a bit where he wants. An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.

A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.

A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

You can hear people in the park next to york minster chatting, walking, laughing and there's distant city noises. Then, around halfway through the recording the bells start to ring out for midday. An afternoon exterior in urban backyard. Ambience with some road construction work close by, birds, buses and cars. Recorded in tel aviv with a zoom h5 internal xy mic.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

This recording was made with an iphone 4s fitted with a tascam condenser stereo microphone in an asian restaurant in bern. We hear the sound of the restaurant with people eating and chatting while the open kitchen is busy washing and preparing dishes. One of the bus boys is singing to himself, which can be heard dimly and at some point a bell strikes a few times.

This sound is made by my old continuity meter when the contacts are moved around. The clicking sounds similar to that of a more modern geiger counter or dosimeter. I recorded a bird on the koh tao island in thailand. It makes some weird sounds and says "i love you". This was very quiet though and i had to make it louder which increased the ambient noises. The weird sounds are pretty clear. Used an rhode ixy and edited in logic.

This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up.
