I recorded this effect in orpington, england, on a mixpre3 recorder with a beyerdynamic mce72 stereo mic 24bit 48k wav. I caught this pair of canadian geese flying overhead and landing in a nearby pond during lockdown in orpington. March 17th 2021 at 0630am. The a21 is ever present but a lot less traffic noise at this time of day.

Incredibly clear quality of a dvd case opening and closing, i used audacity to remove some of my camera's noise and the result honestly blew me away. At around 3 seconds in i say "again", to clarify that i was opening and closing it one more time, edit where needed.

This is a field recording of a late night ambience in a suburban area in india. A variety of insects, predominantly crickets can be heard along with distant dogs and traffic. This high resolution clip has been cleaned to eliminate lf hum and other intermittent loud noises.

Recording of loud frogs in a small pond out behind my house in massachusetts. As near as i can figure from other recordings i've heard, these are eastern grey tree frogs. Crickets are also audible in the background throughout the recording, as is some background traffic noise. A peeper or two make cameo appearances as well.

Recorded radio signal using software defined radio (sdr) around 450 mhz. The sound is the result of demodulating a larger signal using cw-l mode in gqrx and skipping through the band with the signal. Therefore this sound has no real meaning it's just a part of a larger signal.

Bird singing recorded at around 3:40 am with yinger bm 800 ldc-microphone in front of my open window, i had to add some noise reduction because of my computer fan with reafir (there isn't really much of that noise left, atleast if compared to original). You can also maybe hear ocassional space bar-click sound maybe twice, but it's still pretty useable clip in my opinion, i recorded this just to test my new microphone, and because i couldn't sleep because of the loud birds singing, and in revenge i recorded that with my shiny new yinger bm800. A close up recording of an overheating usb slot-loading cd/dvd drive that repeatedly tries to spin up, but fails and makes some clicking noises. Note on low frequency sounds: i recorded this with a zoom h1n recorder at about 2cm distance from the drive slot. I held the recorder in my hand and rested my hand on the surface the cd drive was resting on, so there is somewhat of a mechanical connection between the drive's vibrations and the recorder. I believe this led to the low frequency parts of the recording. About halfway through the recording, i lifted the drive up with my other hand and held it at a 30degree angle to the surface and recorder. As you can hear in the recording, this made it spin up a little longer before failing and spinning back down.
