I like to listen to static (often actually) and it actually shifts a lot through out the day. So i heard some cool ringy stuff. . & decided to sweep through the am band. . . And actually touching the screen of my cell made the static louder. Sounds like a synth.

A simple beat. I have shaped this kick myself in the modular synth. The high-hat is from barton musical circuits decaying analog noise (bmc23). The other sound is a small sample. . . Analog delay on that sample.

Riding my mountain bike on gravel trail at baylands nature preserve in palo alto ca. Recorded on my galaxy note 2 cellphone. Edited in cyberlink power director 13. This is actually two separate tracks equalized differently to accentuate the crunch of the gravel, and to minimize wind noise. Output in mono.

Based upon "beep. Wav" by bsumusictech. Background noise removed, normalized to zero, clip includes just the beep, and a light reverb applied to keep it from sounding too harsh. Recorded sand on a large piece of paper being dragged across a rubberized dance floor (marley). Space had a twenty foot ceiling. Recorded with a tascam im2 stereo condenser microphone and ipod touch. This version has longer, drawn out drags.

This was recorded on an iphone 6 at a small and crowded seafood restaurant in dallas, texas. The table where the recording device was located was near the opening of the kitchen.

I recorded my whistle with this one too. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound. This is a bird making different sounds.

How does earth should sound? uh. . . I don't know, but i started to my make some noise with this old dead plant. I duplicated 6 times the track with different treatement on each ; pitch, overdrive, lo-pass, delay etc. . It's now sound more like earth quake than anything else. . .

In a french train (tgv) from brussels to paris. I was between two carriages, next to the door. This door is making a beautiful noise. At the end of the track, we can ear the train slow down with long break. Recorded with an olympus ls-100, 2017/09/10, 12h50.

At night, only 5 people still at the beach, clean wind and waves of the sea. A few birds, some voices and laughs. Recorded in south france.

On this lo-fi recording, corn grains are sitting in a frying pan and begin to pop as the oil is hissing. It provides an interesting and regular popping sound suitable for mid-range frequencies. The recording is done with a tie-microphone, and extra treatment is done on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.

Field recording of a large truck being used to transport some kind of utility maintenance equipment. I couldn't begin to tell you what kind of equipment, but i can overprocess the sound it makes, so i did. Sounds a bit more industrial and imposing now.

A soundscape. While i was standing with my edirol r-09 in hand, an airliner jet took off from narita international airport by the road. Several cars and trucks passed by. Birds were singing against jet noise.

A meadow adjacent to lime lake in western new york state, usa. Birdsongs, crows and general atmosphere. Recorded with zoom h1n, windscreen, 24-bit, 48khz. Spectral noise removal in izotope rx to reduce atmosphere and bring the birds out more clearly.
