The new hummingbird makes this sound/song to warn other hummingbirds to stay away from the feeder. It sounds very raspy. In the beginning, the neighbor whistles to his dog. Recorded with iphone 8.

A mockingbird singing at midnight. Some suburban sounds can also be heard, such as a train horn. A passing insomniac wondered whether i was making all the noise, and i told him no, it was a bird.

Just a silly imitation of a mississauga transit/miway bus slowing down. It was made by reversing a sound of a laser charging from a video game. Sounds most like miway's new nova bus lfs buses.

This was captured from last year. I thought my recorder wasn't working properly because when i checked the recording, i couldn't find the file. The time/date stamp was screwy. Lol anyway, i didn't see the couple but they were in the room right next to mine. I could literally hear them through the door. I thought at first that it was more than just a couple in the room but after listening several times i think it was just one couple. Like i said, i didn't see them. There is some conversation towards the end but nothing significant that needs to be censored or deleted. The guy was joking with the girl about being a "five star fuck". ;d lol throughout the recording, you might hear some "knocking" and creaking sounds. Sorry. That was me. I kept my hotel door propped open and i was peeking out every now and then to check on my recorder. Anyway, i wasn't able to get a recording this year but i was able to find this one (that i thought was lost) from last year, so enjoy! :d.

Today begins a week of immense global protests and strikes to bring attention to the climate issue. Of course, i attended the guildford protest, participated and documented it here with some of its vocal chanting from a crowd of several hundred. With the aim of spreading news of this strike as much as possible, i am releasing this sound to the public domain. These strikes deserve to be heard. They need to be heard. . This is a recording made from the balcony of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti, the other evening during the two-hour new year's barrels. From 11 they gradually begin to increase gradually until midnight when they get really strong, then gradually decrease gradually until ten to one, when you hear all silence. This recording was done with my iphone 11 connected to the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone.

On january 01, 2013 i was streaming the new years fireworks behind my window. This all ended with this firework, wich proves to be loud, but isn't quite managing it.

Riding the m train in nyc from hewes st, getting off at myrtle-broadway. From there, the train was held by the dispatcher, and several other trains came and went on the opposite manhattan-bound platform.

Sounds from various cafes around wellington new zealand. Recorded on an ipod touch, so quality is not great and mono. Mostly the sounds are the general ambience of the cafe, people talking, music playing and coffee being made, a few are outside so there are the sounds from the street and traffic.
