A car being started. It was recorded from outside the car, standing in the garage. I believe the make is a volvo v70 but i'm not entirely sure as it is not my car. Recorded with a zoom h1.

Playing with a bike pump. Recorded wide-stereo, 24-bit in an echoey bathroom. The files has been edited to the best parts. Some degree of headphone bleed is audible in the recording. This makes a pretty good whale sound if you stretch it 500-1000 percent.

Hello here is another sound for you peeps! i made this using serum vst and messed around with the noise knobs and automation to make it sound like the wind gets more powerful.

I made this sound with my microkorg, making lfo1 and lfo2 hella fast, and made them modulate the pitch and amplitude, respectively, at full strength. The values for the frequencies i don't know, but it is fun to dive in to a synth and try to replicate the sounds that you're hearing.

I've been playing friday the 13th lately and i love the chase music on it! so i decided to make a little loop that has that getting chased feel using just a hard hitting piano! hope you like it!.

My idea for this track is when an astronaut is exploring an alien wreckage and his base realizes there is more than just a wreckage when he asks the astronaut to get of the area. Inspired by amliebsch's "voice from hell" sound, i decided to take a crack at making something similar. This was made with my own voice. If you want to know what it's saying, it's:. Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Okay, i actually did make a rather horrorific sound, despite my slight dislike for the horror genre. I know. I contradict myself. Anyhow, this is actually the sound of me going up an escalator while i was at a conference. I came home later and didn't know what to do with the sound, so, out of boredom, i made this. By the way, that weird shriek at 1'46" was actually a young child who was running around somewhere in the building. This sound could be used for *contradiction!!* an atmosphere for a horror game or something like that. But don't try to make me play it, because i won't! okay, well maybe. Mangled with ableton live.

I was bored and made this loop on fl studio. I made this loop using no drum samples. (adding some effects to little motor sound i recorded)=========================================for making this, you mainly need gross beat with drum loop preset on volume (the bottom one) section. This was created with sampled percussion from the keyboard in adobe audition cs6 and recorded via logitech webcam mic. The sound was further de-noised and cleaned in audition's spectral view and effects applied to make the arrangement work. Hopefully this will prove useful to some.

A real series of gastrointestinal sounds - very funny. Robots converse about the sounds and one of the robots make a funny comment about another one. Contains real human laughter and a real human scream placed in a specific way in the sound wave to add a funny effect.

Simple drone sound, created by using ableton's operator plus some granulator and effects. It can be used as a subtle background noise to make your scene tenser or etc. You get itexperiment with volume automation.

Formatted for the make noise morphagene. This reel consists of a spliced breakbeat. The final splice is the whole loop without any splices. Trashy drum kit, recorded by me, re-sequenced with elektron octatrack and played through a crappy speaker.

A very basic click. I'm not even intirely sure where i sampled it from. The only potentially problematic thing i could see is the slightly off left/right balance. Makes a cool noise when you loop it too.

A large pane of mirror glass sitting across two sawhorses is drummed on, making a surprisingly big resonant drum sound. At about 0:18 the inevitable happens: several extra smashing and shattering sounds are audible after the initial break.

This is an acid loop i made with free vsti called rubber duck. I run it through various lfo type filters. I've tweaked it to make it a perfectly looping one shot hit at 112 bpm.

Recorded on my iphone for a project, me hitting a shelf with trinkets on it that makes a loud thud and a rattle. Good for body impacts on furniture. Hard hit, good body and nice light rattle after.

A pencil writing on some cardboard. Makes a good scratching sound for something like note taking or plain writing. It's semi-erratic with a couple pauses in between and i took different distances from the mic and angles with the pencil to try and get different sounds.

I mixed, slowed down, and sped up different small chunks of an audio file of a glitch noise, making something that sounds like a receipt printer at costco/walmart/freshco/any other big store chain.

Tapping large water bottles (metal) against a leg to hear them make melodic sounds. You can hear the slosh of the water inside and the resonant tone. Noise reduction and amplification were applied to this sound using reaper.

I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.

My fifth attempt at a glitch style loop. In order to make the samples used here - most of which are only hundredths of a second long - i took samples from the amen kit, then switch the format from >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< into >adpcm 11. 025 khz, 4 bit, stereo< then back to >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< again. I found that if you do this with a sample under 00. 35 seconds long, you get an almost random glitch sound, about. 04 seconds long, that barely sounds like the original sound. I just figured this out, but i'll make note of it; i like some of the effects.
