I washed up some glasses and found them making a loud dripping noise when left on to dry. The water was dripping off the glass onto the corrugated drying side and forming a little wall with each drip, each time there as a drip the wall broke transferred the vibration on to the resonating tumbler.

I recorded this for a gamejam in 2017. Used for the game over screen where there was a maniac, demoniac child laughing at you. I probably will never be capable of doing this same laugh again. The game itself was not very good in the end. . . I had a lot of fun with my friends making it though.

Each one of the nonsensical announcements at the start are entirely synthetic. They're text to speech, done on-the-fly, with pre-fader pitch modulation embedded in automation track. No synths were harmed in the making of this cacophany.

I placed the recorder on the ledge of the doorway in my hall, this is me walking back and forth between two rooms. I have a reason for making this recording, these are the parts i would have deleted, so i cut them out and joined them together.

Looking through a golf bag: in this sound you can hear the clubs hitting each other making a metal sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I lowered the volume at certain parts to prevent it clipping. The clubs in the golf bag is a driver, a wedge, a putter and a 6 iron.

I was making a short film and needed a specific sound effect, so i recorded myself trying to push something that's too heavy. It also can be used for someone who's trying to open something shut tight. I also added a scream because the character on my short fell after trying to pull, so you can use that too if you want :).

I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. You can hear my unstable breath and my dog "focus" (i love him) barking in the background.

I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.

Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. This a spare recording from a short film i was making. It's a stereos track but all sounds are recorded to the left channel. This was recorded on a zoom h4n and a sennheiser me67. This is a smoothly rising shepard tone that i created using adobe audition 3's tone generator. I generated the tone as sine waves in 7 different octaves and mixed the results together. The period of repetition is 10 seconds. (this is a second version in which i removed the phase variance, making the sound monophonic for all practical purposes).
