Download and loop. This break beat was made from freesound percussion hits, with some percussive hits from sound generators in fruity loops studio which was used to sequence and then quite heavily compressed in realtime, with seperate effects applied to the kicks and snares. Recorded out wav at 44khz 16bit stereo ~ 140bpm.

I took an almagmation of freesound samples and loops. I then attempted to fit them together into something that resembles a chilled dubstep tune. The people that feature are:. A piece of melody stuck in my head as i heard it not remember where, kind of 80's space or zodiac band's music.

Layers of droning male vocal slowed down and looped with various pops, scratches, and thumps run through an assortment of guitar pedals including reverb, harmony, echo, delay, etc. . .

I needed a wall of crickets but could not find a decent one so i used some samples and multiplied them to make it sound like hundreds of crickets. Enjoy. Nice to fall asleep to, but the loop points could use some fixing-up.
