Here's how i did it: used two oscillators (one noise oscillator and another multiple-wave oscillator), and then passed them through two different filters. In each filter, i lfo'd the frequency knob at 2. 0hz (120bpm), and the pattern you see above is each oscillator-filter combination muted in different ways. For the last sound, i applied a phaser effect and automated the frequency knob or some other knob to give that pitch-up pitch-down effect.

Chldren were playing in the neighbour when a low lightning activity thunderstorm came to pécel and lasted for 1-2 hours. It produced 10 mm of moderate rain and bright intracloud lightning. Recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone. The storm arrival had a little disaster movie impression for me.

Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

I was waiting for a person at the conservatory of venice and i decided to step out on the terrace and trying a field recording. I was at the last floor of a tall building, you can hear people talking on the ground floor, music coming out from classrooms. Recorded with a zoom h1 without windshield, unfortunately there is some wind and handling noises.

The hens slowly realize the reality of their situation and return to their scavenging. You produce a deep clucking bellow -- one last attempt to reach them. But it's too late, the hens pay you no mind. It is time to go.

There is a man in besiktas ferry port. He sits and plays trumpet between üsküdar port and kadıköy port. I saw him there couple times. So he belongs that place in a sense. I added flanger at two point just for my taste :) recorded by zoom h6 with internal xy mic on last quarter of 2019.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

Sounds of a fireworks show i recorded at a private party last year. While not the sound of a huge fireworks show you might hear at disneyland for example, i was right under the rockets being launced so i think it captured good sounds. It was over a lake with a crowd and boats coming and going but i think i was able to edit all those sounds out.

I created a click track and got rid out the last two beats of each bar. I shortened the spaces between the first two beats of every bar. I then added a reverb effect and created another layer of brownian noise to even out the silence. I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. After many months- and a trip to san clemente, ca and back- my qu-bit nebulae v1 is working! this is a snippet from qu-bit’s own double bass sample, run through a mimeophon and qu-bit’s own fdn reverb, with lashings of modulation wherever possible. My wonder at the sheer madness of the sonic experience here is only matched by my joy at having a working granular processor at last.

This was recorded on july 4th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too. I can just imagine the sound of hundreds flying over in ww2. There is a bit of distortion as the plane flew directly overhead. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

On the last day of 2010, a taxi driver was struggling to move forward on the icy slippery road with his regular tires. Kyoto city had heavy snow fall on that day, and no cars wore special tires for winter. Since the taxi wouldn't start, the following car couldn't help honking. It was my turn to walk the dog and i was really up for it. As i walked a distance, i could see rain coming from miles away. I could also see that i wouldn't be able to make it home before it got to me, so the dog and i took shelter in a baseball dugout at a local park. The roof was sheet steel, the rain was thunderous and it lasted just about eleven minutes. Hope someone can use it.

The doorbell in my apartment is so loud and obnoxious i decided to share my pain with the rest of the world, lol. In all seriousness, hopefully someone finds it useful for their production. The first sample is the purest, with the last two i *attempted* some dampening, but the difference is really inaudible. Lots of nighttime traffic and in the first two minutes, several loud vehicles pass and you hear three loud reports of distant fireworks followed by distant barking. There's about three more minutes of traffic and then the noise dies down to neighborhood hum in the last 45 seconds.

I play three notes on tenor trombone: Bb3, Bb2 and Bb1. They are all in first position. The first two notes are in the standard range of the trombone, while the last note is a pedal tone. This occurs when the instrument resonates at the fundamental, rather than the 2nd harmonic. Pedal Bb is relatively easy on trombone, but much harder on trumpet (I'm unable to do it, despite being proficient at trumpet and at a beginner's level on the trombone).

This is the sound of trying to squeeze the last dregs of liquid hand soap from a 60-oz plastic container. It has no excuse for sounding this rude. Recorded opportunistically under non-ideal circumstances (including noise floor and clock ticking in background), using the built-in mic on an iphone 7. No processing was done except splicing multiple takes into one file, and transcoding to wav.

Been downloading off this site for ages and thought i'd give something i recorded back. I drank from a glass bottle by a mic to recreate a character in a film drinking some beer from a glass bottle. A small sound but in those quiet scenes i think noises like this make all the difference. Done on my olympus dm5 recorder that i use for last minute foley. Hooray i'm finally on here!.

This was captured from last year. I thought my recorder wasn't working properly because when i checked the recording, i couldn't find the file. The time/date stamp was screwy. Lol anyway, i didn't see the couple but they were in the room right next to mine. I could literally hear them through the door. I thought at first that it was more than just a couple in the room but after listening several times i think it was just one couple. Like i said, i didn't see them. There is some conversation towards the end but nothing significant that needs to be censored or deleted. The guy was joking with the girl about being a "five star fuck". ;d lol throughout the recording, you might hear some "knocking" and creaking sounds. Sorry. That was me. I kept my hotel door propped open and i was peeking out every now and then to check on my recorder. Anyway, i wasn't able to get a recording this year but i was able to find this one (that i thought was lost) from last year, so enjoy! :d.

I'm using a wired karaoke microphone and recorded it on audacity. Clapping and people cheering are coming from my hands and my voice, respectively. Each clap is recorded manually (some are near the mic and some are far away) and as well as the cheering voice. I recorded it at my living room. Recorded and uploaded on december 2017. People clapping at first then audience praise at the last.
