I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound. I may work on creating a more cohesive pitch, but the dramatic pitch could possibly work for you. Key: c #minoralt key: 12abpm: 107 (does it matter?)environment: audacity for stupid simplicity. I built a pad with several multiosc synths, this is me pressing one key on a midi controller and letting it go. There are approximately 48 separate oscillators stairstepped on this one. I think it might have completed one cycle.

During the bus ride you will be able to hear the soundscape of inside the bus, the bus itself when stopping you could hear the sound of its brakes, you can also hear sound of vehicles coming from outside, there is also a low rumble sound in the bus and voices of people. 0:40 - the sound of the bus announcer telling the next destination in portuguese, cantonese and putonghua. 1:32 - bus door opens and people walking out and the sounds now is different in outside. On the way to university, you could hear vehicles, people talking, key chains, footsteps and the sound of the gates opening and closing. In my quest for that perfect sound that i'm looking for, i ended with something that doesn't quite fit the bill. Never the less, i think it has potential in the right hands. One thing i would like to point out is a single glitch at about 1. 907. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out. A little wet synth riff i found in my loops folder. Has a bit of swing to it, loops. Made in logic. Chords/melody part.

A three note bass line with noise. Principle notes are c, d#, f#. This means it doesn't easily fit in a major or minor key, but it would work in something largely in c minor or f# minor. This sample has a tale that fades out.

Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.

I wrote and designed this little "abstract-piano" piece exclusively for thefreesoundproject. Haven't seen too many abstract-type piano sounds out there, maybe i'm just weird like that, lol. . Merry christmas & a happy new year to all - 2007!.

It's me saying some words. I've recorded my speech and then used ardour's (http://ardour. Org) looping funtionality (which have proven to be rock-solid) to perform theese glitches. I used my mouse to select random ranges in the session, then used the "]" key to set tre selected region as a loop range. And also used "l" key to start looping if i accidentaly clicked on the playhead (which makes it stop playing). I also used space bar to break the loop into normal playback. There was a limiter in ardour. Recorded the performace using jack_capture cli program. I cut out some silence using audacity and converted the recording to flac.

I put this recording through a 'pitch looper' a program called cecilia, really cool program if you want to produce something similiar. The original recording i've also uploaded separately was taken with a rode nt4 mic and with a didge of mine in the key of b from northern queensland (kuranda).
