It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in january with a zoom h1 n, audio quality 48,000 hz. Unedited.

Ambiance sound of an urban street on a summer night (it was taken at 22:30hrs). You will hear heavy traffic (motorcycles and cars), planes passing by (on minute 2:30 and 6:30), dogs barking and some indistinguishable talks.
