This is the sound that every casino lover is crazy about. The sound of a slot machine. For me this is my favorite slot machine - book of ra. The slot theme is of ancient egypt. The book of ra is an ancient book that is found in egypt. The slot features various egyptian symbols and the sound also brings the mood of this theme. You hear this sound and immediately you feel like you are in ancient egypt. Or las vegas. . . .

I needed the sound of a plastic recycle bin being rolled out to the curb. I set my zoom h1n on the sidewalk at the end of my driveway and - in two trips - rolled the cans out to the curb. You will hear me walking to the cans in the right channel, the garbage bin is rolled from the right channel to the center-left. Then repeat for the recycle bin.

This sounds as if it were staged by hollywood, but it actually did happen, i swear! birds chirp away to set the scene, but a beefy thunder roll intrudes. Soon after, raindrops begin to fall as if on cue. Theres a little handling noise click in the begining that is easy to crop out if you like. The recording is unedited. At 1:35 i move the mics closer to the deck so you can hear the splashing. At about at 3:10 i you’ll hear a different timbre as i move away from the rain and under an awning. About 3:45 the rain settles down and the birds start chirping again. Hopefully there are some useful segments in here. Recorded with a dead cat on a tascam dr-05 at 48khz 24 bit, then compressed with “lame --preset insane --scale 10” to make up for the low gain i used (i was afraid a thunderclap would engage the limiter). This sound is piece of night atmosphere i recorded years ago with reel-to-reel nagra4 and mkh416. You can hear night ambience of large hangar with lot of silent insects flying directly to electronic trap light and burn in very close detail. Another detail sound comes from hiting the metal body of film light.

Recording in the cafeteria of pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). A sound of a metal knife and fork is the main sound and in the background we can hear the typical sound of a cafeteria with a lot of people. It was in the lunch time and the sound have high frecuencies due to the metal contact and middle-low frecuencies due to people talking.

This is the second part of an audio filtering project (in general, signal processing). This sample shows a noisy recording of my voice, after transforming the signal using the xft (extended fourier transform), applying a filter to cut some frequencies and later applying the inverse xft. A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

Hammer hitting a nail: in this sound you hear a metal hammer hitting a metal nail into a slab of wood, creating a harsh sounding sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. A high shelf and a band was added to the sound to make the hammer hitting the nail more clear. The hammer used was 2kg hammer and the nail was 5 cm long nail and the wood was a piece of eucalyptus tree wood.

Striking a wooden barrel with a thick wooden drum stick i have for large percussion. Minimal eq to remove useless frequencies below 80 hz, no boosting more than 2db, so very non destructive. No compression added. No permissions needed but i'd love to hear what you used it in!.

Kick sound created in fl studio using a reggae kick sound played both dry and using a denise punisher free distortion vst and then layered with a pure click from fl studio. Skewer slam is a combination of my knife sharpening sounds and metallic impacts/wobblers (some not yet uploaded here!) to create a sesnsation of something big, intense and lethal coming towards whoever it either find offensive or is ambulatory. As a personal note; the distortion you hear is not because of clipping in the initial recording but because of the higher acoutistic resonance and limiters applied which will not sound like this when downloaded.

While i was in math class taking a test i just decided to record. Near 4:38 you can hear a bell ringing, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't want a interrupting bell. It's can be rather useful for a animations where the character is surrounded by classmates taking a test or whatever. You can use it for anything it doesn't matter to me.
