This is a synthesized hi-hat groove. It is basically an on two layers sequenced noise-patch. One layer to create the "closed hat" effect and another one to create the "open hat" effect. Closed hh one-shot. These hi hats were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu hihats pack.

Another drum track i made for a friend to jam with using the the real drum sounds in fruityloops. Its a 6 bar loop comprising of a beat with hats and the with ride and back to the hats again. Originally it was programmed at 55 bpm but sounds better at 90 or so.

A classic for metalheads:tu-pa-tu-pa-tu-pa. 110 bpm for a fast thrash metal groove.

I used audio source separator isse (http://isse. Sourceforge. Net/) to separate the hi hats from the kick and snare in the break beat "funky drummer". Funky drummer: https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/funky_drummer. The beginning of the audio file plays the kick and snare part while the 2nd part of the same audio file plays the hi-hat part.

Dubstep beat programmed with caustic 3 and mixed with ableton. 4 bars at 150 bpm big kick with snappy snare. Reverse snare and reverse spacey crash for extra effect. Busy hi hat pattern. Some gentle eq and mix compression and reverb and slight delay on hats and reverse effects. Ready to go.
