Just some sample hits from my drum kit. I left them totally raw so you can add your own processing, reverbs, delays, whatever. The "just the room mic" could be especially fun to nuke, mangle and/or distort. I performed and recorded all of these samples in my studio. So slice & dice, hack & slash, scoop & loop, smash & bash. 24 bit 44. 1, fretless fender squire jazz bass with humbucking pickups, groove in a major/mixo at 100bpm. This was sloppily played, more for the sound of the bass than my playing. A young adult female whimpering with a sudden intake of breath at the end. Can be used for surprise, fear, shock, hiding, etc. Recorded using my turtlebeach earforce-x12 headset and then edited in audacity to sound more like a man. This was originally recorded for use in my own project but here, have fun. =).

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is another reel made in the modular using the new intellijel plonk, which is amazing for microsound but also really jagged edges. My interest in this module was as far from anyone else's haha. This is one of the most fun to play with, especially when sending modulation into every input!.

This sound was made purely with audacity and my laptop microphone. I basically moaned into my microphone then used paulstretch with certain settings then slowed down the speed. It sounds like something adjusting or breaking far away. Feel free to use without credit.

Another patch on vcv rack. Sick! why am i doing this when i have the real thing :-) well it's fun and convenient. I can test modules and patch ideas. So she used it😬 end published audio, but not the still-expanding asshole, um, event. Take-away: if you cannot be respectful, at least be careful where you sleep. I started recording a vinyl lp into my computer before realising that i hadn’t set the anti-skate properly and the needle was stuck in the lead-in groove. I trimmed this bit of snap crackle n’ pop and kept it in the hope that it might be useful for me or anyone else. Have fun.

Found this ancient mr. Coffee making these creepy sounds whilst brewing. I could get some decent "coffee brewing" sounds out of it, but the moaning and heavy breathing is what makes it. Recorded at high bit rate, so there's plenty there to manipulate into a sucking chest wound death rattle or whatever you're into. I recorded this with a yamaha pocketrak that i taped to the feeder and enhanced the vol. With sony sound forge. It was fun to watch their reaction to the recorder but they eventually figured out it was harmless. Hunger overcomes fear every time. :o) here and there you can hear our tv in the background as i forgot to mute it. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :o).

This is a foley recording i did for a cinematic nature documentary. In the scene you see lions pulling the guts out of a recently killed bison. As the sound assistant didn't want to get too close, i simulated the sound by mushing up a plate of lasagne in front of a pair of rode nt5's. Very suitable for zombie movies - have fun! :).
