The amrican robin is a common bird to the united states, and while the robin does live elsewhere there are small variations that make this bird unique.

Recorded in 2011 while coming out of the thurston lava tube in volcanoes national park on the island of hawaii. There was an incredible phasing sound that i missed while trying to get the recorder out, but you can hear a little at the beginning.

A gigantic flock of crows (corvus corone), at least 100 birds, circling right over our house at lubeck, germany. Hasty recording, therefore some rumbling at some points, but a nice clear recording nonetheless as they circled very near. Recorded on zoom h2.

Inspired by recent makenoise cicada series. Added clouds to an o-ctrl (fast) sequenced mimeophon output and sending partly back though feedback loop. X-pan did the rest using ochd as the lfo mod. Source for panning and fade in/out.

It is a sound that, despite presenting some variations, transmits relaxation, thanks to the fact that it is not a very strong sound and is originated from nature. It did not have to be triggered, it is the natural song of a bird.

This is an ambient recording of the main spring that feeds lake atalanta in rogers, arkansas. The recording was made using a zoom h5n recorder with a stereo mic capsule held near the surface of the stream at a slightly different placement.

In fact, this is the sound of the forest, which was recorded in the gagarin park in chelyabinsk, under the influence of many effects it became similar to this sound.

Forest drum sound similar to the old donkey kong style sounds with some atmospheric sound that carries on after using a cement mixer and some rain. If some aspects of this sound are not to your liking there's a couple variations on my page.

A very simple experiment i made for fun, using kinda low quality processed recordings. I tried to create some kind of alien soundscape vaguely inspired by half-life xen, especially the black mesa version.

Here in the midwest we were treated to a nice preview of autumn here in the northern hemisphere. Both the temperature and humidity were nicely lower than usual and this soundscape was recorded featuring the beautiful northern breezes and a few of the birds that still live here. Since this ambience was recorded during the work-week, there are hardly any man-made internal combustion engine noises. Just the wind lifting and swirling through the tired forest and the blue jays, crows and insects. Recording made at 2:30pm on september 13 2022. Equipment used: recorder-sound devices 702microphones- left channel- sennheiser mkh 416right channel - sennheiser mkh 8070. The right channel, the very low-noise direction shotgun microphone, was pointed just about straight up at the leaves and branches of a huge cottonwood tree whose dry leaves were putting on a show. Hope you can hear this. Recorded and edited in stereo so either good studio monitors or headphones will make you feel you are in the forest surrounded by the gentle breezes swirling through oaks and cottonwood trees and insects and birds.

A recording made on saturday march 30th 2019 right beside a creek at giant city state park in illinois. The beautiful, pleasant sound of the creek dropping over a small sandstone rock provides a nice background to the very "happy-to-be-here" louisiana waterthrush. A mid-summer recording of the shawnee national forest in illinois featuring the singing of two popular summer visitors: (1) indigo bunting and (2) white-eyed vireo. I really enjoy hearing these calls because, while beautiful in their own right, they also signify the soon-to-be summer coming to a close. Recording made on august 6, 2022 at about 2pm in a clearing surrounded byseveral dozen black walnut trees, and, beyond those, thick, midwestern, insect-laden summer woods.
