This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

A recording of my fridge from the interior. The high pitched squeaks are due to the freesound's preview conversion, they're are not present in the raw file. There are some minor clipping sounds that i don't have a clue where could they come from. Something living inside my fridge?. Gear: zoom h6 with xy mics.

I recorded hot-water-heating pipes crackling and then looped the sample at progressively faster & harmonically relevant speeds. Note e. Atmospheric cinematic pad. I recorded the guitar, then processed a lot of reverb and added some synth sounds. You can put it in the sampler by setting the root note to e and you will have a complete instrument. I especially like to layer on it additionally the sounds of the waves that i put on my page before.

The 13-year periodical cicadas in the midwest. In this recording i was lucky enough to have some forest birds also sing throughout the steady drone. Recording made with marantz pmd661 (**with beefed up and extra quiet pre-amplifiers by oade brothers electronics), running samson co-2 matched true stereo microphones. My original recording was made at the highest bit rate allowable on my machine -- 98khz.

An image was created to sound using sonicphoto. . Google it. . Free version is what i used, then went into ableton did some eq adjustments, probley didn't even do anything. But o well. Added some fades to make the sound more enjoyable.

Another sound that has been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. This sound byte is an odd one that i made when i was pretty bored, it might be good for a drone or sound of a phantom or something. It could even be a warning or system message for a game. This is my second "stonerscape" that i've uploaded, the first being "creep jam". This atmosphere gives off a dark and brooding feel, my interpretation of what one may experience in a deep, suspended animation state. Get yourself properly prepared (if legal in your area), use good quality headphones, and relax in a comfortable, laid back position in a darkened room.

I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

As part of a class assignment, we were given the hindi pop track "simply falling," and were asked to slow the track down add heavy reverb to it. The result is this eerie, noisy ambience of screeches, groans, and whispers. I've used this track in a few horror projects.
