Soundsnippets for a sound performance for 100 people with bicycles in hammerbrook. We're doing a public performance of music for 1000 bicycles at bullerdeich 7 on 18 june 2022. We will perform an 40 minutes choreography composed by padyak hamburg (nils knott, cooperfrau melissengeist, tintin patrone, dayang yraola) by attaching speakers on our bikes. An mp3 recording of a blood-curdling scream which slightly reverberates. Made by me screaming into the piano while holding down the pedal, which makes the notes vibrate in tune with the voice. A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.
