Walking on rocky/shingle ground besides a small rushing river climaxing at a waterfall then walking back. Recorded near the sgwd yr eira waterfall in wales, uk. Recorded with a zoom h5 with an msh-6 stereo mic on a calm winter afternoon.

Electric and noisy sound that evokes bad radio transmission or hard drive problem. It was created by the pressure of a iced tea bottle, which let a small air stream escape through the neck. (lot of noise cause the sound was really low). Zoom h5n + sgh6 mic.

Changing the pitch, warping the sample, stretching it, complexing it. Setting the shaper to receive only audio, creating a popping effects, great for sound design if you wanna process it more, cut it down. Or even use it as a percussion in a loop. . Up to you.

While editing the sound i posted prior to this, some sort of glitch in logic's system gave me this. I made sure to keep it for freesound. It's just a few seconds of a glitchy, vocal-esque sound. Already mixed it together somewhat. It might be good for dj's.

Heavily pounding bassdrum originally made from 10 litre bottle punching sounds recorded with my fake shure c608 mic and heavily processed by adding some modulations, distortions, layering some attack and setting bass part (under 200 hz) to mono. Will be nice choice to produce hip-hop drums, or experimental techno also for making cinematic thunder-like booms.

Cutted parts of an audio experiment using carbon electra saws with some internal pitch envelope going on, going into trash 2, going into eq modulation, going into manipulator (formant & pitch shift, a bit fm modulation on a shifting frequency at times), going into ott.

This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

An example sound for the freesound punching sound design dare. Layering together different sounds to make a punch effect, and including the layers. Sound 1: the complete punch. Sound 2: hitting a pork chopsound 3: punching with a boxing glove onsound 4: billowing a teatowelsound 5: cracking celery (classic). Sound 6: the complete punch again.

This is a recording of a vitamin c tablet dissolving in a cup of water. Recorded with an edirol r-o9 and a nice hydrophone. By lifting the hydrophone in and out of the water some very nice filtering effects where created. This sound has many applications for sound design!.

I whipped up this wacky reinterpretation of the twilight zone intro while doing a sound design concept. It's a sound that i created with a patch i made in pure-data (my first patch btw). Completely random frequencies in completely random space imaging. Merge with au "fm" sound where the index modulation change randomly, the carrier tone and the modular tone also change randomly. I applied a random delay. . . . So random random!.

Notes as an arpeggio derived from the chord cadd9b5 fed through a glass viper synth at 120 bpm using a panning notch filter on a soundfile that has been reversed cross faded into the original soundfile stretched to its maximum. This is a wave of some sounds that remind me of what sound design for the rugrats cartoon backing music. I made the sounds using an fm synthesis patch on the ios application "addictive synth" on my ipod touch and recorded the audio within the app. No post-processing was done to the audio. This is a recording of the sea-side. The wind noise was was difficult to remove (i hadn't used a wind shield for the microphone); so i decided to use it as part of a sound designed piece. I would use this as background for gaming or for radio drama; you may use it however you wish.
