A pistol being dry fired once. I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. Imho, it's not up to my current personal sound design standards, but i've decided to upload it regardless because maybe someone else can find a use for it. I was trying to record some audio of myself talking, and my neighbor's dogs kept getting through. I'd been wanted to start recording sounds anyway, so i decided to single out the barks to upload.
I decided to record myself making a couple of sounds with my mouth, used alot of vocoder and paulstretch and various other audio effects and the result was this. Tbh, sounds a bit like a broken sodastream imo.
I had so much frustrations, and decided to let it all out. I yelled in a sound booth for the fun of it and created this sfx. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.
This is a small river near where i live, when i recorded this i was under a noisy bridge so i decided to reduce the noise a little and i came up with a quiet gentle stream of water. Enjoy!.
