This is a recording from clearwater beach, florida, usa, made on november 07, 2014, from the gulf of mexico on a windy day, just before the tide came in. Field recording of the ocean surf at the outer banks, nc. Recorded approximately ten yards from the surf line on a zoom hand held recorder mounted under a beach umbrella. There is also a river-flowing kind of sound as this street floods in heavy rain, and the water runs from the street into a storm drain right beside my driveway. Various vehicles occasionally pass by.
