A bird was singing close to a chimney early in the morning. I had my recording gear ready to go. It took quit a bit of processing (= noise-removal & filtering) to get rid of rubbish. I added a slight reverb to it. The recording is made in zoetermeer, a city close to the hague.

I realized with a start that i recognized a cluster of buildings across the way. I had seen them before, in another dream. In that dream i had been a different person. Well, this was a happy accident. I was trying to record my neighborhood with birds, etc, but of course living in los angeles that was practically impossible, so instead i captured this great airplane passing directly overhead. Recorded with: audio technica bp 4025, sound devices 702t.

You can hear the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passenger conversations (in japanese) and, of course, the train itself.
