A large group of atlantic spotted dolphins (stenella frontalis) recorded during a whale-watching boat trip off the harbour of valle gran rey on the island of la gomera, canary islands, spain, 2017-03-11. The first part was recorded with a zoom2 recorder from the boat, you can hear the dolpins breathing. Then the recording was switched to an underwater hydrophone so you can hear the sounds the animals make.

The sound of southampton water at around 5am on a bank holiday monday (national holiday). The microphone was placed right at the shoreline where the water meets the land. There are distant boats/ships, the oil refinery and a few sea birds. The wind was about 2 to 4 mph and that created some very small waves that can be heard lapping against the shore. Christmas day 2007 in ramsgate harbour. The weather was cold and misty with a bit of wind. The result is an eerie sound as the wind rattles the rigging of the yachts, enhanced by a couple of birds flying across the harbour making mournful squawks.
