Recording during a strong autumn storm, with heavy rain, in a large garden, surrounded by big pine trees. The wind was so strong, that i had a fear that one of the branches of the pines could snap and fall on me. The recording is a 32bit float, 48khz ms-stereo one, made with a sennheiser mkh 416, and ambient ate 308 emesser figure of eight, in a røde blimp with fur cover. I was amazed that the blimp did its job this good in this strong wind.

I was walking down some enclosed steps in a parking garage and i noticed that the metal handrail made a nice, big ringing-bell sound when i tapped it with my fingers, so i decided to record it. Recorded on the shortest day of the year at the edge of a lake where the wind was gusting from the south at 15 to 20 miles an hour. At the beginning you hear some geese in the distance. This recording was made using my sony pcm m-10 with it's internal microphones set to level 5 input volume. I actually placed the recorder, carefully, in a crook of some branches in an oak tree about 5 feet above the ground---very near a big clump of dead and brown oak leaves. . . . This gives you that wonderful sound of the wind hissing through the leaves.
