Audio track from a video i made. The title is just an anagram of part of the original title and nothing to do with the video. The whole track was made by processing the original audio, (which was a female's voice) in a variety of ways.

Recorded to iphone using sennheiser ambeo smart headset (binaural mic). There's a dip in level in the first 10 seconds where i'm playing with the mic, but it levels out shortly after that. Recorded while seated, with the "front" of the train towards the right ear. Not the greatest quality, but perhaps it will be useful to you as a background ambience.

This is my four years old kid singing a long version of the abc's song. The idea of this version is to learn the sounds of every letter in the alphabet. The voice was recorded using the app "tape" by focusrite, with the an ipad's microphone without using any metronome or background track. The song was recorded in february 2014, in quito ecuador.

Train passing on top of the auckland domain pedestrian underpass. The tunnel is a highly reverberant space and as the train goes by it creates sounds that resembles the orchestral percussion, timpani. Background noise: birds. I had to make a background track of roman senators talking for a comedy radio theater production. I recorded myself 5 times in different voices (other than my own) and got this track. There's a dumb senator in there, an old man senator, and three other random senator voices. :). You may do whatever you like with this sound. . . The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. Ostensibly, this is supposed to be a cleaned-up version of the famous radio transmissions recorded by the judica-cordiglia brothers in november of 1963, in which it appears that a female russian cosmonaut perished during a botched atmospheric reentry. We were doing a shoot for a chinese television station and i let my canon 7d pic up some sounds, edited some of the pops out and there you have it. Some bees in a meadow with some churping birds near commercial hives in the late spring. Good for ambient background sound with bees everpresent. In the fraser valley, british columbia.

This recording, unlike my previous insect recordings, was taken in an actual forrest on south mountain reservation, millburn nj (as opposed to my backyard). There is a distant airplane in the background (south mountain is near newark airport) but otherwise its much cleaner than my previous recordings, pretty much isolating the patch of crickets. ---two primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1.

Busy street in tokyo during the evening rush hour. I placed a pair of mics at 120 degrees between 2 stop lights on a busy street. There are 3 distinct "waves" of traffic let through the lights and all our recorded well. The panning is quite dramatic, so you really get a sense of movement.

This is the first recording i made with my zoom h1 (probably will be making more soon). I made it from my balcony, late afternoon - there is a large playground surrounded with 4 four-storied blocks, so there's a great echo. The birds are very noisy at this time of day here and kids as well. There are also some distinct parents talking in the background. Recorded in small town in poland.

This is a casio sk-1 i did around a year ago or so from reeds book plus a video out and 18 on board rca jacks with another 25 pin dpi that can run through a breakbox. Noise and bent sounds as usual. Crashes alot. Oh and it's not the hardest "mother of bends" serious, i wore socks and everything. : ).
