The neighbours dogs didn't like me getting too close to the fence.

Dogs barking at night in a quiet neighbourhood. I was worried one of them might jump the fence.

My dog and the nieghbour's dog don't like each other. While i was asleep they went to the fence and from the calmness they barked and growled at each other. The neighbour's dog who has sharper voice tore some pieces of the wooden fence on the nieghbour's side but the another layer of the fence is iron and cannot be toren apart by them. Mournful cows mooing in the night. These are my neighbor's pasture-raised cattle and they have a pretty good life but about this time every year he has to wean the calves. He separates the calves from their mothers. They are on opposite sides of a fence. The fence is a single electric wire. The mothers and their calves are inches from each other but not in the same field. It makes me so sad to hear them in such distress but they seem to get over it in a few days.
