Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.

It was recorded at my office in mexico city, i was looking for a kind of similar sound at freesound. Org, and since i did not find anything related, i decided to make my own sound effect and my first upload to your web. I lowered the ipad in my hand under the chair and swayed back and forth three times to achieve the tone i considered efficient. Recorded: august 31, 2019.

How easy it should have been creating cool rhythms for the drums with a digitalclock generator or having a nice wave table oscillator etc. . . . Today, i admit, i once again was looking at a digital clockgenerator. How would care!?same sequence as in electronic minute no 105, but slower. And i have added someeasy modular analog. . . . Drums and a bonus sound. Play with it. In the end the drums are alone!the wav-file is raw! no editing at all. Yes i should record via my h1. . . But it'sso easy to use the mic in on my laptop.

Footsteps. . . Note:. These are no field recordings but handmade walking sounds in different speeds and manners intended for game creation. Most of them you can loop. They are recorded as dry as possible so you should add the ambience you like. How to make these:. 1. First empty two bottles of the famous spanish brandy lepanto. 2. Keep the korks - they have a very special sound different from the korks of wine bottles. 3. Then, if you're still able to hit (maybe you shouldn't drink the brandy alone and at once), fill things in a flat bowl or a plate - f. E. Pepper grains or salt. 4. Step the korks in the bowl and record it. You may also - as i did - step the korks on other things like a ventilator. 5. Compress the sounds hard but limit them to -4 db (as they sound not naturally if they are to loud).

I was awakened at about 3 am by a local thunderstorm. It was raining softly and lightning came regularly. I recorded over 4 minutes of it from my front porch using an iphone and added recording app, and nothing else. This file is unmodified. A young backpacker is walking along a country road but is kidnapped and bound. When caged, he comes to the realization that his mountain-dwelling captors are practicing cannibals. After escaping his bonds and getting out of the makeshift cage, he silently slips from the campsite into the hills, and after picking his way around rocks and waterfalls and through miles of forest, he is hopelessly lost. He sits and rests, then, alone in darkness and a summer thunderstorm. All he has other than the clothes on his back is a folding pocket knife. When you make it and it wins at cannes, let me know.

It's me jamming a bit using my epiphone's explorer (tuned to drop-d). Recorded with a zoom h2 via mic-in and a jack cable. Unprocessed an undedited recording. I tried out some licks and chords. I'm not a good guitarist. Nevetheless, this might be a nice recording if you're making an animation about learning musician, or a game with a band member rehearsing alone in a room, or if you want to just chill to my little jam session. This should be mono, but i calculated the difference between left and right channel and it is not zero. So i uploaded it as a stereo file. Could use some denoising. There is some silence at the beginning so you can do that if you need.

Approaching army? rising nightmare?. Wrote/recorded an eerie nightmare approaching in the distance sound. The sound starts soft and builds to a crescendo. Ezdrummer2 was used w/ a low pass eq filter. Panned left is ableton stock plugin glass cave mirror. Panned right is polar pad. Center is the ezdrummer2 w/ a low pass eq filter combined with the all alone pad stock plugin. I put this together on a whim, having fun. It's mindless, i know. It seems no one can agree on anything, social media decides what you can say publicly (or never be heard), and very nearly every power-drunk politician is interested only in acquiring or retaining said power. Our ideological mismatch is something to be exploited. Divided, we be easier to control. It's intentional. Absolutely. So, i submit this particular ditty as representative of the current state of affairs in the untied states. Misspelled on purpose. 1889, it is not.

My original dw toms, mixed with themselves 1 octave up [the octave up is lowered -6db and the envelope reshaped to allow loud only the attack]. Then for that resulting mixdow again the same thing [so i used the same method two times]. At all steps i was using the simple compressor[not multiband] for not allowing overlimiting. For the two general mixdowns [because it was a double process] i used hard compressor at -0. 45 dbs. And for the two octavic parallel channels i used hard compressor -3. 60 dbsbecause the octave doesn't sound realistic if not well compressed. For all my dw octavic tomsed i used the same exact method. My original dw toms are here if you want to read data or mics. These toms do not sound realistic as stand alone sounds. These harmonics work better only in a complete mixdown, and have increased audibility than the original recordings [for silent music parts use the original because low velocity of parallel instruments will expose the supportive tom-harmonics].

As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Wow, this is a long one. . . But a good one. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. Recorded in my dad's bedroom with lifecam hd3000 webcam. This is a much better recording than my previous oxygen concentrator file, as i hauled my desktop into the bedroom at the other end of the apartment where the machine now is, when i was home alone. The webcam is on the bed about 3 or 4 feet from the machineat the beginning of the file you hear me flip the big switch and the machine comes on with a long on beep and thumps. I edited it to start then. At 00:1. 8 what i suspect is the water pump comes on, though i may be wrong. That's when the gurgling starts though. The machine has a small reservoir for distilled water to moisten the airflow. A cup or two lasts several daysyou'll hear various hisses and thumps in a 15. 6 second cycle as it runs. At 03:03 i flip the big switch to shut the machine off, and it bubbles and gurgles away for the rest of the file, as water i assume slowly perculates back into the reservoir, the bubbling getting quieter and quieter until it doesn't even sound like bubbling anymore, until it finally ticks to a stop. At 03:16 you hear me step as i get my foot loose from the mic cord lol. At 04:13 the furnace shuts down as a car finishes going by outside in the bass register, faint traffic noises and the furnace being the only background noises you'll hear aside from my moving around a couple times, and a faint bluejay at the end. At about 07:00 you can barely hear the machine anymore, but i could hear a faint ticking with my own ears. At 07:04 the furnace comes back on. At 07:08 you'll hear a bluejay faintly calling outside and a car going by outside after, which finishes the file at 07:20. I edited out my walking to the computer to shut the recording down.
