Recorded this on an afternoon in the fall of 2014 at a buddhist monastery in a small coastal town outside bangkok, derived from video taken by a samsung galaxy s3. I was at a human trafficking conference and to thank the people the first nations people of the area sang this song for a long time brushing the participants with cedar boughs and smudging. Roller coaster- nothing really noteworthy about this recording. It’s just a nice wide stereo capture of an old style wood-frame roller coaster. I think there were only 2 or 3 people riding it as i did this recording, as it was a not-at-all busy weekday afternoon in the off season. We get a passing motorcycle at the very beginning, and then a distant plane just prior to the roller coaster. A grey squirrel (sciurus carolinensis) recorded early afternoon on 23rd july, 2018. The animal was shaking its tail while calling from the trees, approximately, 3 metres from the ground.
