Recorded from the window of my attic flat in walkley bank, sheffield. This is the moment of new year's day 2021. You can hear a small amount of children in the background and one child suddenly shouting "happy new year" and scaring the bejesus out of me at about 3 minutes. I change position at 1 minute 30 (pretty much climbing entirely out of the window) and you get a much more impressive surround sound feel after that. There's also a huge explosion right at the end that is definitely worth waiting for.

Some guys across the alley were throwing things out the window this morning, which woke me up and ticked me off. Instead of yelling at them, i put up my mic and recorded the impacts. This is the raw audio from the recording (only mono, sorry, didn't have time to set up two mics). Some really nice impacts and other hidden goodies in here. Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

I recorded my air conditioner sound recently. It's one of those thermostat style ones, not the window attachment one. This was recorded right on the vent taking in air as well.

I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. Wasn't intending to record this, but it was so intense i had to. I couldn't sleep with the 50mph winds hitting right outside the bedroom. Worst storm i've been through since moving to washington state in 1999. It came from the east through chinook pass. I was kind of expecting the roof to fly off. You can hear the flapping of a tarp covering my old mercedes right outside the window. The wind shredded part of the tarp. Also, the snow drift hitting the window. I used my yamaha pocketrak and edited in sony vegas adding two extra tracks. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :-).
