Scary build. Created with omnisphere 2 in august 2017 using ableton for a suspense film i did sound design for.

This is a mix of deep boom sounds i mixed together. Probably like 30 or more sounds to get just what i wanted, even my own voice mixed in there somewhere. Figured others might find this useful. Might as well say what i used this for. So in making a big huge video for my family, where i've filmed them doing certain things and not tell them why, to which i'll present the video when we all get together for christmas eve, 2019. Theres also a part where i hosted a picnic, filmed everyone, and then asked them to karate chop or kick towards the camera. The next day i went with a crew and filmed ninjas around the park. Edited together with the family attacking the ninjas then the ninjas falling back and exploding with a particle effect on after effects. This is the main sound heard when that happens. I made a few others using this base sound. While i'm bad myself at leaving comments, comments are always welcome to hear what someone used the sound for. Thanks.

Potable hoover (vacuum as known in the states) powered-on. Portable vacuum cleaner turned on. Short sample which can be looped. Two samples are included, the first is about 30cm away from the microphone and the second is a close-up to the microphone. I would advice using the end of the audio file to apply noise removal however have left this upload of the sound unedited so you can tweak this yourself to find what fits your project best. Noise removal may not be necessary at all depending on how you incorporate the sound. Also to be fair, how do you add noise removal to what is essentially glorified white noise?.

I grabbed a metal mallet (mini sledgehammer) and dropped in on cement in various ways. Lightly and a bit harder. Recorded into my ntg3 in a garage sectioned off. Signal to noise ratio was really good because it was a loud sound. H5 was my recorded. Cleaned some hum using rx4. Boom!. Pretty please, post a link if you use this file. This is a real recording of a shooting that happened right outside my house, i managed to get a clean recording of one of the shots that happened, i hope for the very best who got involved as i currently know nothing about what happened. . .

This was created by recording the sound of rain coming off of the corner of my house and hitting my pavement driveway. It was collecting in the corner of my roof, which is what made the sound louder and stronger than the sound of rain which was falling naturally.

It's a winnie the pooh stocking that sings "we wish you a merry christmas" when you push it, but i decided to take one of the batteries out and see what happens. The result is rather funny. Recorded on november 27, 2011 with an ipod touch. Converted to wav with audacity.

Recorded with iphone while waiting in line at a notary's office in rio de janeiro brasil. Some very loud dot matrix printers, some stamps and a talking (portuguese) background. You can't really get what is said or even the language.

I was editing a ringtone of the tardis landing from dr. Who when i accidently made this with that bell toll thing. Makes for an interesting alarm sound. No need to credit but would love to see what it was used in/for :). Edited in audacity using the noise reduction setting.

Maybe someone could find a use for this. I doubt it. Rising tone from 440 to 880 hz, with extra harmonics arising over that period. Random slow panning l/r. Much faster random panning (~200 hz), but shallower. Ridiculous echo and reverb. Just what i felt like doing on a sunday morning.

Winter wind in the phone-lines alongside a disused railway, now a footpath. This was made on what used to be the platform of a station,now very overgrown. The station shut down sixty years ago. Short recording, faded in and out. Zoom h1 using on-board mics.

We recorded some of the hackers during the barcelona musichackday. We asked them to give us a nerdy description of what they do. Then we cut up some of the words and used them in our installation "music frog duck". This sample is part of this material.

Field recording of a large truck being used to transport some kind of utility maintenance equipment. I couldn't begin to tell you what kind of equipment, but i can overprocess the sound it makes, so i did. Sounds a bit more industrial and imposing now.

This is old and my memory not what it used to be. However, i do recall hitting a steel ruler against an empty paint tin and making some sort of popping sound with my voice. Then exposing it to terrible amounts of electronic torture until it melted with sonic extacy!.

I don't know what kind this was, but several red-headed woodpeckers appear at my feeder. I got just one series without background traffic noise. If you want to repeat it for effect, each series came 46 seconds apart. Probably how long it took him to eat the bugs he turned up.

This sound is an audio file that slowly breaks up the further it is played. I recorded this with an in-built microphone, no idea what make though. I recorded this on audacity, and added gradual distortion. Warning: you may need to turn down the volume for the last 6 seconds!.

This is some more edirol 'composing' this time using an arpeggiater and just really letting midi do its thing. I don't really remember how or why i composed this or what i used it for (if anything) but it's quite dramatic, isn't it?!.

Recording of (what in my believe is) a small frog call. Denoised version (cricket removal) of my frog02 recording. The source was hidden in wet grass near of a river, surrounded by crickets. First and last beats have been cropped so it can be played in continuous loop.
