For this recording, i was sitting in my car under a large tree. With a rain storm having just passed, the tree was dripping large droplets, creating a consistent rhythm as they hit the roof of the car. This was recorded using a tascam dr-05x in june, 2020.

This is a recording i made during a lull in a storm, i recorded in ortf configuration with a pair of akg c1000's through a mixpre-6. I pointed the mics at my neighbour's house which had an overflowing gutter/drainpipe making the water slap on to the concrete. Recorded 2017 in melbourne australia.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.

Recorded just after midnight on the 4th of july 2015 during a heavy storm across southern england. The occasional rumbles of thunder came from about 50 kilometers away. The intensity of the rain slowly fades over the length of the recording. Marantz pmd-661 with internal mics.

Sound of a single droplet. The standard sound for like a leaky faucet or a drop hitting a puddle or bucket of water. I actually made this sound with my mouth and tapping my cheek at the same time, but it is a very convincing drop sound, which can easily be looped at the speed you want for that "continuous drop" sound in the background.

I made changes in the impulse response of the fisher k-10, i used a demo of the fisher spacexpander on youtube that had a warmer sound, i did eq match using small sections of the video where the audio is dry or wet, i did this sin several times and the result was fantastically similar. This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.
