Sound of a cigarette (bugler!) being extinguished in a puddle of water. . . I recorded this (i think) june 2nd of last year while walking along a dry creek bed in middle, tn early in the morning after my first night at idapalooza. Recorded with a sony icd-px720.

This is the sound of a security man from the upf campus of poblenou walking through the sidewalk and moving his keys. The background noise it's due to the wind and the cars. Recorded using zoom h4, normalized with audacity and adde fade-in and fade-out, at 13:30.

One morning i was walking my dog it was very windy. I heard a tree that had fallen several years ago, make a squeeky sound towards another tree. I used the sound on old footage on a wooden-boat.

This sound is completely analog. I recorded the sound of a person who was walking on the street. I chose to leave the noise of the street so that we understand that the person walks outside. I used the effect "amplification" to reduce the noise of the street and increase the sound of step. I made a fade in opening and closing, so that we have the impression that the steps are moving towards us then moves away. At the same time, i played with the pitch of the sound to accentuate this effect. Sitting on an outdoor paris cafe terrace some buskers started up across the road. The wind cooperated and i got this nice blend of chatting cafe sounds, passers by walking on the sidewalk, vehicles and a little of the popular desmond/brubek number 'take five' in the background. I recorded the sound of my dog's collar using a zoom h4n recorder and a rode m3 microphone. This would be a good sound used in the background in an outdoor scene. I can imagine this recorded noise starting off soft and gradually getting louder to indicate a dog walking by before it softens up and gradually trails off as the dog gets further and further away.

I decided to upload all of my sound design stuff where i am working or have worked on. This is a series of hard sole footsteps on a stone tile floor i recorded for slicing it up to load it in a sampler. Recorded with a brauner phantom classic via an xlogic alpha vdh pre-amp from solid state logic.
