This is for a video game i was making, but i figured it would be a good idea to share this with everyone. This is supposed to be the sound of a wooden container being violently smashed open, such as a barrel or a box, or even possibly a wooden wall. I borrowed a few sounds from the site, tweaked a little of course, and also added some powerful white noise effects to indicate a hard smash. With some layering with twigs cracking and pieces of wood falling on the floor, i think it sounds pretty authentic. . . Or as authentic as it can get!.

A peculiar local brand of fruit juice sold in small plastic bags with a straw will sometimes vibrate violently when sipped, producing this deep groaning sound. I've yet to discover what exactly causes this to happen. When trying to record it i experimented with straw positioning, sipping strength, holding angle of the pack, and couldn't get it to consistently rumble. This may be a marketing conspiracy to get audio people to stock up on juice to master how to perform the packaging. Recorded with sony pcm-d100, edited and denoised in izotope rx 7.

Simulating "bone breaks" by cracking celery into pieces. The intent is to use these sounds along with "hitting" sounds to create a more dynamic punching sound effect. Although this is cc-0, if you integrate it into a more dynamic effect, i'm curious to hear it. Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. Ah gee. . . . . These are random samples i recorder and am such a lazy i don't want to sort them out. . . . 1 - could be my modified boss ds-1 distortion pedal (i call it the violent ds - 1) (w/ 3 extra capacitors and a transistor or two) going throught it is a boss dr 550. 2 - a yamaha portasound pss - 270 which i cut the fm synth traces too via switch (that was a pain in my ass also!). 3 - a very scary leap frog kids toy named professor quigly. 4 - a speak and math. . . . . . . 5 - sum yamaha thingy i don't know i just call it my raver machine. . . . . . It looks kinda like a cool t. V.

This underwater breathing was created in audacity. To create this sound i generated 2 tracks rhythms on 2 different mono tracks. For the breathing i created a rhythm "click noise" and added the effect "paulstrech". I deleted some moments of silences. I tried to simulate a heartbeat. I generated a rhythm tracks "noise click" and added the effect "echo". I selected in the track a sound wich looks like to a beat, cut the remain and add the repeated effect on the selected moment. I added bass to make the son more organic and reduced the gain. ---. Typologie/morphologie de shaeffer. Ce son est un mélange de continu complexe (x) et d'itération complexe (x''). Masse :son cannelé. Mélange de sons complexes avec des hauteurs. Grain : a la fois rugueux (la respiration) mais aussi lisse (les battements de cœur). Dynamique :l'attaque est plus ou moins violente avec des variations. Profil mélodique :variation scalaire.

This sound was created using audacity. First of all i chose a frequency of 432 hz ( a number which includes the golden rule/proportion), then i created a gradual rise in the first 4 seconds, leading into a peak which descends so it can go up again, creating an effect of confusion. At the end, the sound raises gradually and rapidly to reach its peak once again. This sound recreates, for me, a fast- moving ufo (unidentified flying object) and includes the notion of conspiracy in our society- the changing of the frequency of the tone “la “ from 432 hz to 440 hz in 1953 by the nazis. La règle d’or- 432 hertz. Le ton « la » est une pointe centrale dans le réglage des instruments musicaux. Le ministre de la propagande en allemagne pendant l’époque des nazis a fait un décret général avec lequel il a changé la tonalité « la »de 432 hz en 440 hz. On utilise cette hauteur à partir de 1939 jusqu’à nos jours. Il y a eu des protestes de la part de professeur dussault de la conservatoire parisienne qui a fait une pétition signé par 23 000 artistes françaises mais sans aucun résultat. L’organisation internationale de standardisation(iso) a accepté en 1953 les changements et on utilise la valeur de 440 hz depuis. Des recherches montrent que ce changement a des effets incontournables sur le corps et le cerveau humain- les gens entrent dans un chaos. Ce changement a été caché du monde entier parce que c’est le point de la balance dans la nature. 432 hz est la vibration qui inclue aussi le règle d’or (ou la proportion de dieu). Quand on écoute de la musique en 440 hz la première chose qu’on remarque c’est une fatigue, aucun envie de faire n’importe quoi et beaucoup d’autres ( y inclus le mouvement de notre adn) une étude récent montre que l’utilisation de 440 hz crée des mouvais effets dans la nature et dans toutes les êtres vivantes. Cette article m’a inspirée à recréer un son avec une fréquence de 432 hz qui monte et baisse graduellement. C’est un son seul de type complexe(nodal). Il est de type v( continu varié), il est éclatant,clair et lisse. L’attaque du début est graduelle et violente. Le son varie en « hauteur » de plus fort au moins fort et l’inverse, recréant un effet d’un ovni qui passe à côté de vous.
