Filling up beans in the grinder, grinding 18 grams of coffee, tamp it. Then i preheat the cup, flush before adding the portafilter and extracting, brewing the double espresso, while foaming some oat milk. Checking that there are no bubbles in the oat milk and then pouring a slowsetta pattern into the cup. Machine: bezzera bz10grinder: eureka mignon.

The track was taken of a heavy aerologic (dhl) boeing 777-fzn freighter during line-up and departure from leipzig-halle airport (germany) on march 06, 2021. I have no excuses for this. Ever make up a stupid tune while you were working? this one made it from under the car to the garage and then to the kitchen sink. I can't imagine how it might be useful, but it is entertaining, to me at least, so here it is. Dinglebang. No it was not me. ;-d.

Forest ambience with a strong wind blowing through the trees. Distant birds and creaking tree trunks make for a long, placid ambient listen. Recorded on zoom h1n, 24- bit, 48k but reduced to 16-bit, 48k and lossless flac compression for file size. Cleaned up a couple wind pops and filtered below 100 hz in izotope rx.

Me doing an impression of a mouse for a project, as i didn't find any that suited on here. It's me squeaking, pitched and speed up a little. I am a human, not a mouse (although i did use a mouse to make the sound (a computer mouse - no mice were harmed in the making of this sound effect)).

This sound was recorded on the corner of glebe and george streets. This street corner is a common place for students to pass during the day, and these sounds are representative of what goes on in the city we go to school in, but they are sounds we may not always pick up on because they are so normal to us.

A close-up recording using the m/s technique. It is the recording of a simple small-sized fan. I really liked the low-frequency sounds it generated when i got the mic close. This is found in an old library from the software "olitec", that ran on windows 95. Answering machine software that says "leave a message". I can't make up if the speech is output by a robot or if it is just a human speech with very low framerate.

My phone ringing, me pressing the talk button, me yelling, me hanging up, and then me yelling again. This was made a long time ago. I think i had just put together some sounds i recorded for no reason in order to get this. Sorry about the poor quality. At the time i didn't have a good microphone.

This is from my royal typewriter that i picked up at the thrift store for 5 bucks. It works great and i use it quite a bit to write letters with. I love the feel and sound of the keys. Thanks to my buddy, randy, this police radio chatter sample is now made possible. I cleaned up all addressed and names, hopefuly, from the 16 minute or thereabouts chatter, tightened it down somee, and made it possile. I took the audio of this robin chirping from a video i was making in our rural garden. I could see a robin singing away high up in an oak tree across the road from our house. I have taken out some of the neighbourhood noise but apart from that this is the audio directly off the cam corder.

Extracted from camera recorded content, tidied up with audacity mono and noisegate. . . I also listen for problems and cherry pick to avoid weird sounds. . No rubbish dry sample. If you want to use these sorts of sounds (good for games or video), remeber adding reverb back is the trick to making the sound big again.

I decided to upload all of my sound design stuff where i am working or have worked on. This is a series of hard sole footsteps on a stone tile floor i recorded for slicing it up to load it in a sampler. Recorded with a brauner phantom classic via an xlogic alpha vdh pre-amp from solid state logic.

Sounds from a steam-train, squeaking and rattling inside with no additional passenger sounds (no one else was in that coach). The recording starts with the train approaching in the station and the squeaking of the brakes and the hiss of the steam. This particular train goes up and down the "brocken" in the harz, germany.

A musical bottle holder offered by my best friends. Each time you lift the bottle that is placed on it, the music box chime plays if winded up. The played melody is a french song called "boire un petit coup c'est agréable". Recorded with a trust gxt258 fyru microphone connected to a macbook r.

Clean notes played on a home-made diddley bow. Sampled with an electric pickup and a little added reverb to make up for lack of sustain. Seasick steve inspired me to construct a diddley bow (it ain't hard). All you need is a length of wire, 4 or 5 ft of two-by-four, some timber nails, an empty bottle and a hammer.

Squeaky trampoline jump close up indoors. Small children's trampoline. Could also be used for as a sound for some sexual action on a squeaky mattress. Who knows. . . Recorded with sennheiser mke600 on a tascam dr-60dm2 recorder.

Here's a bongo track i performed and recorded that was used in an ethnic style tribal track. You can drop this on the timeline at 120 bpm. It's an 8th note triplet feel in 4/4 time and it will line right up. Plenty of good stuff to pull from here. Free for all to use as you please. Enjoy!.

Recorded 29 may 2019, 4:43 pm, just on dark, on a marantz pmd661, using a rode nt4 inside a rode blimp, pointing away from the wind from the back of a station wagon. Near the end, a car pulls up about 50m away.

Generation of clicks ticks and cycles in makenoise xpo and karplus-strong in mimeophon. Good for musique-concrete, etc. Cycling up until breakpoint. Rendered @48khz 32-bit in reaper. For all you morphagene fans out there. Feel free to place your own markers. Enjoy!.

This is a "recreation" of the sounds heard at the beginning of the "alice in wonderland" superbowl tv spot. I used jobro's cinematica 7 in reverse and timbre's bass drum and discordant bells. The ticking sound i made by tapping a pen. I recorded the full "ticking track" (up to :17 in the spot) but didn't have the string hits to make it sound good.

I saw this huge storm brewing, so i put my laptop next to an open window, thinking that i might record a nice atmospheric recording of rain and light thunder, and i caught this thing, no more than 500m away. I had the sensitivity turned all the way up, and the microphone i am using isn't the best, but someone might get a use of it :).

This is the sound of a bamboo being shaken lightly, originally i had meant to make the sound of a light wind but the sounds turned out too harsh. So i ended up being able to salvage the sound of a bush being shaken or moved through. For all those forest troopers, here you go.
