Sounds of me punching my leg, hitting my palms together and punching books under a pillow. These work well as a layer on top of other existing punch sounds on this website to make a punch sound more fleshy.

Vent- it was in a long hallway where the walls were close together. In the hallways that the vent was in there were many offices near by where you could also hear keyboard clicks coming from the offices. Stereo recording on a h2 digital recorder.

A funky grooved beat i made from individual copyright free percussive sounds sequenced together in sony acid. I applied a groove by manually moving some of the samples off the quantized beats.

3 f-18 superhornets did a series of flyby's directly over my neighborhood on nov 12th 2011. I caught sound of the last 2 fly-overs with my zoom h4. The jets were not as close together in this last fly-over.

A dragon roaring. I created this effect for a production of shrek. I recorded several takes of an actress roaring, and mixed some of them together, adding eq, distortion, and reverb to create the resulting effect. Recorded with an sm-57. Actress: nicole lewis.

A raw audio mp3 recording of two actual swords crashing together; the sound is almost like a bell. The only background sound is a rather noisy clock, which can be taken out. Recorded with a black sony ic digital voice recorder.

Made in ableton live. A slow firing heavy weapon. 19 layers were used to create this one. Eq was used to select different frequencies from various weapon samples and compressed together for the inital transient or pop. Time based fade in/out layering was used for the sustain and reverb tails so they fit nicely together. The single shot that was layered together was then printed as a new audio sample. I created a loop and pitched every shot by a few cents or 1 semitone to add variation. Each sample was then manually shifted on the timeline forward or backward by milliseconds to give a more realistic feel in timing rather than sound robotic. Each shot was sidechained to duck down in volume when a new shot triggers for more clarity. Mechanical trigger and bolt movement samples were add in before/after the initial transient of the shot. Shell hit floor samples were used for added detail. I felt the shots lacked a good sub bass so an eq was used to filter out the sub and replaced with a rapidly decaying 808 kick drums sub. Once the loop was formed, all shots were then grouped together and processed with a transient designer into a clipper, a compressor, a maximizer, ott multiband, gluing reverb, stereo spread and then into a final limiter. Enjoy.

I mangled the sound of some sirens going off. I put them all together and thought they sounded like massive sirens going off, perhaps because it was the beginning of the end. Made with audacity.

Two pine cones being twisted together. Recorded using a zoom h2n handy recorder and a pair of roland binaural mic/headphones on 09-feb-2015 in my home studio as part of a foley session for a short animated feature. Edited in reason 7.

This is two slabs of concrete , one on top of the other, and scraped together. In this sample i have changed the rate to give it a 'bigger slab' effect. You can also add reverb and play with the rate yourself for more dramatic effect.

This is a hard one hit kick. 2 kick sounds have been manipulated with eq and effects, but not over processed, put together into one. So what you end up with is a clean kick that you can hear and feel. Rendered in fl studio.

A railway arch under the mainline just near waterloo east station, london se1. Sparrows and wood pigeons can be heard, together with the whine of the stationary train on the tracks above, and the deeper rumble as the train moves off.

Theres also a part where i hosted a picnic, filmed everyone, and then asked them to karate chop or kick towards the camera. The next day i went with a crew and filmed ninjas around the park. Edited together with the family attacking the ninjas then the ninjas falling back and exploding with a particle effect on after effects. This is the main sound heard when that happens.
