Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.

The streak of a brush, i know it sounds wierd alone, but try it!if you put a few streaks in a natural drawing pattern it sounds like actual drawing, but don'ti used it for an intro where the title is revealed with a few brush streaks.

Title say most of it. Recorded on aria pro ii bass through iostation and studio one v5 24 bit. Bass and drums panned l/r so bass could be used without reference drum track.

Not quite as fun as the title makes it sound but still a good hydraulic whooshing sound i made with my tascam dr-40x on a small tripod underneath my bed as i lifted and pushed down on the hydraulic hinge. Filtered and eq'd a bit for some room buzz.
This recording was taken with a rode nt4 mic and with a didge of mine in the key of b from northern queensland (kuranda). I have a tiled square enclosed shower so the reverberation is crazy, have a listen to my other recording with the same didge and mic (titled didge. Wav) but in an open room for comparison.

Dark and powerful sound of a vintage, beast of a power amplifier, switching on. This is an older recording i had lying around, fades out at the end. Could for example be used as a sound effect for a title screen, or turning on a big piece of equipment.
