Soft rain falling on my roof as heard from the loft/attic. Occasional traffic is background, occasional wind gusts and an aeroplane passes. Recorded on a sd mixpre3 with rode svmx.
Portable oil heater being dragged on its plastic wheels across a (slightly gritty) tiled floor. Close mic with tascam dr100. Cleaned up a bit (light compression).
I really couldn't figure out how to describe this. There must be an industry standard description for what i'm calling a diminishing reverb. It was the metal funnel in a stove top espresso maker as it was rolling on a tile counter and got got in the tile grooves.
