Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 100bpm using ableton live 9. Basic 4 chord song structure (a, e, g, d). Synth and synth sounds are a combination of ableton stock plugins (bass groove, might as well synth brass, celestial pad) and free online synth vsts (dexed, synth1 vst). Simple synth snare + 3 higher speeds. ⸻ "how do you make a classic synth snare, do you just take white noise and go like. . . " *goes like* ". . . Huh" yep you just go like. (going like consists of setting an oscillator to sine with just a release tail and noise + a lowpass snapping up and trailing off gently + compression/distortion of some sort + high frequency shelf snapping down from high gain and then back up).

A soft texture for synth pads in a3. Built by layering several sine-wave generators to create the note a and some of its overtones. It was then drowned in reverb. The sine-generators played just a short impulse, what you hear is the tail of the reverb, to give it more richness. Post-production: reverb.

I wrote a beat with a beat bass and percussion, then i've added the sound of synth and it looks completely. It sounds like broken, but i like it. Could be in the base of the track in a style like: world/dub or something else.

Landed at this sound randomly while playing with different fl presets. To me it sounds about knights and tournaments. Created in fl studio, harmor synth.

Simple dreamy pad that i might be using in a track, created using the calf plugins. A single file containing several octaves of c and g notes, suitable for cutting, looping and sampling. Have fun!.

A sound which reminded me a lot of the gameboy. I've named it after the gb's cpu - the sharp lr35902 - which also handled the gb's audio. This is the note a of octave 5. (created with audiosauna. ).

Raw percussive type synth sound made by hitting muted string on a guitar that is connected to boss sy-1 synth pedal with a palm of the hand. Best used with a sampler and a lot of effects.

A patch around the build of a complex wave form. Creating an interesting timbre is challenging and fun. I have not tried but i think this sound will loop well!.

Two envelopes trigger each other and the quantizer which is fed with cv from the sloth lfo. Anyway, a modular synth experiment. A triangle wave from an lfo acts as a bass tone.

Weird little looping, scratching sound effect. Responds well to a lot of different effects. Try looping it or feeding it into a wavetable / granular synth and see what you can come up with!.

A quickly rising synth that then sustains until repeating, meant to sound like the sort of alarm you'd hear in top secret bases and whatnot, could be used for quite a few contexts. This was made in beepbox using the guitar harmonics instrument.

Two chords and a 3 note melody processed in music maker's cinematic synth with a deep bass swell for high drama.

Noises that i made with a synth. They pretty dry sounding didn't add much to them just basic eq with a low cut and sometimes different shapes to shape them a bit. Thats it just some "raw noises".

Bass drum pattern (hit also) : a suspense pattern bass drum with tape echo. Resembles, very faintly, a heartbeat without the echo. Synthesized using the "synth bass drum" module in kong in propellerheads reason.
