Recording of a small creek, water tumbling over a small limestone rock. I placed my zoom h4n recorder with built-in microphones so close that you will hear the ocassional "pop/puff" as a water drop actually hits the big foam wind-screen.

The sound is so special with three meters long nylon whip when i heard it from distance and moved close about 15 meters with 48hz and 16bit recorded to share with you.

A folie i recorded for a short students movie i edited in 2011. I recorded these water drips with the zoom n4's built -in microphones and it worked great for me, so i decided to upload it. Enjoy.

A quick multisample snare hit i did with pro tools 10. I didn't add any reverb so y'all could choose one that fits your project, but it's full and punchy. Sum to mono if you don't like the subtle panning i added. Enjoy!.

My cat, misha, purrs for a while. Recorded with a zoom h5 right next to his nose hence the extreme stereo wideness. Apologies for the noises, sometimes it's just the recorder bouncing on the chair or me petting the cat so he keeps purring.

This was recorded in a woodshop with a loud dust collector going on, so it's not the cleanest recording. But if you need a noisy, nasty sounding mechanical thing then this'll do it.

Tried to find a similar effect here without finding one, so i had to make it myself. It was made in an interesting way; i spat in a toilet (and recorded it). Then i added some nice reverb, and viola.

This is a hard one hit kick. 2 kick sounds have been manipulated with eq and effects, but not over processed, put together into one. So what you end up with is a clean kick that you can hear and feel. Rendered in fl studio.

A sudden spring rain storm recorded indoor in a courtyard, so it contains some natural reverb. It also contains a heavy thunder in the middle. Please, excuse the quality, it was suddenly recorded with a mobile just when it happened.

A sudden thunderstorm was making a peculiar noise while water dripped off my balcony, so i went out and captured it as the rain slowly decreased and eventually stopped. Recorded with zoom h4n pro.

The recording is made whilst bushwalking, so captures the footsteps etc. It was recorded with a 3dio binaural mic and a zoom f8 field recorder. The recording has been minimally edited and denoised with rx7 spectral de-noise.

From the loa angeles book fair 2019 opening day at usc campus. Not the full band , still very impressive. Forgive the clipping as the dynamic range for this material is quite large. Recording too far away i would have picked up chatter, so a compromising record.

This noise is white noise powered by itsself. So f. E. Random value 0. 63 will result in pow(0. 63, 0. 63). The algorithm for this noise was created two years ago by myself in c++, as an imitation of noise generators in supercollider 2.
