Modern noise - a quiet kitchen at night in an urban surrounding, and the constant sound of a big samsung fridge. Very distant tv sounds and voices. Recorded with a blue yeti on the floor (omnidirectional mode i think), cut to make it loop cleanly and boosted up a bit with goldwave. I kept it short (less than 2 minutes) to make it easier to manipulate in my video editor timelines. Hope someone finds it useful.

Raw audio of me typing on my old perkins brailler, this time with a sheet of paper in it. I believe something was wobbling around the desk and i couldn't get rid of that noise with audacity, however it isn't all that unnatural for an object to be vibrating or wobbling when someone is typing on a heavy brailler like this. Ambience recorded at a wine tasting evening, around 15 people to begin with, increasing to about 20 in total towards the end. Recorded using a single akg c451, run through an sqn 4s mini, into a tascam dr680d. Sorry it's not nice and stereo, but it was just recorded after an interview to give us something to work with in post. Might be panned hard left, too. Uploaded raw, thought it might be useful for someone!.

It was my turn to walk the dog and i was really up for it. As i walked a distance, i could see rain coming from miles away. I could also see that i wouldn't be able to make it home before it got to me, so the dog and i took shelter in a baseball dugout at a local park. The roof was sheet steel, the rain was thunderous and it lasted just about eleven minutes. Hope someone can use it.

This is a recording (made with an iphone) of a bird with a cool call. I have no idea what bird it is. . . I'm not an expert on those things. Xd. The cool call starts a few seconds in. :). It's nearly impossible to find sound effects of someone handling an instrument and not playing it. . . At least it was until i uploaded this!. This was an acoustic guitar, but can be pitched up or down for similar smaller or bigger instruments. There's rubbing, knocking, and gliding fingers over the strings. No need to credit me. I needed a sound effect for an audio project, specifically the sound of someone moving around in a bathtub full of water and ice. Being too lazy to go out and get a carpload of ice cubes, i raided the ice-maker in the refrigerator and built up a stockpile, then dumped them all into the metal kitchen sink, added some water and a few empty ice cube trays for flavor, and stirred them about using a glass mixing bowl and a wooden spoon.

A pistol being dry fired once. I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. Imho, it's not up to my current personal sound design standards, but i've decided to upload it regardless because maybe someone else can find a use for it. A quick and dirty sound effect i put together for a film school project. You could use this as a sound effect to accompany an arm or a neck being broken, or someone falling over and snapping a bone of some sort. I used this for neck breaking though. . . These recordings were made at the annual "tag der sachsen" (saxony fair) in freiberg. Recordings were done on the main market square (obermarkt), where a local radio station had set up a large stage for concerts and other events. Recording was done with a zoom h2, mics at 90° dispersion. This is the early morning after the event, at about 7. 30, stage hands are taking down the rigging, workers are clearing away trash and loading trucks. During the recording, someone starts working with a leaf blower.

The soundscape of a thunderstorm that passed over berlin in 2012, recorded from my backyard window with a little earplug stereo mic that a friend once made for me - a dummy head. The heavy rain was followed by thunder, then transforms into softer rain that lets you hear faint city sounds like cars, doors closing, someone using a screwdriver, voices, the bells of a nearby church, airplanes and birds. There's so much to hear, i couldn't stop recording. I only took out some little peaks caused by the movement of my ear.

Almoste unhearable there may be an adult's voice or someone speaking on a television and some unspecific sounds coming from one of the flats. Plus one or two bird's singing can be heard from the trees nearby. It's juli 2021.

I placed about 200 small brass ball-bearings (2mm diameter)on to a "half-life analogy apparatus" (which i have access to but i've never see the like using a google search. Basically its a titled wooden box with holes. The ball bearings roll down some of which fall through the holes and are collected in a beaker. The remainder are collected at the end of chute. Anyway, i just like the sound and hope someone can make use of it !i used a zealsound microphone and recorded directly into my laptop using audacity. The sound is as recorded.

In my quest for that perfect sound that i'm looking for, i ended with something that doesn't quite fit the bill. Never the less, i think it has potential in the right hands. One thing i would like to point out is a single glitch at about 1. 907. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out. It may be a non-issue to someone that hasn't obsessed over it before, during, and after dinner. Use it and abuse it if it fits your needs. Key: a♭ minoralt key: 1abpm 107 (i had a clip running at 160 just fine).
