A spaceship sound that is moving thru the space, you can imagine the air filters pushing air thru the vents, the ships hull cracking as it moves thru the deep space.

I would upgrade my cabin if this was the noise i had to live with. Through film we - know - the space ship background noise. A freighter or a battleship - more noise. Enemy ship even more and strange. . . My noise is from a budget cabin. This is just a background noise. Listen at low volume. Recorded from my window, not far from the harbour. Horns from cargo ships of a local company (but worldwide sized), special symphony for the funeral of the founder as a ribute to him.

A ferry leaving san diego harbor blows it's horn twice, one long blast followed by a short blast. Audio taken from a video i shot in 1994.

To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

Recorded the sound inside a container. On top of the container is a wooden construction of a play ground. The container itself was loaded with toys like roller skates, tricycles and shovels. It rained outside moderatly.

I downloaded a "joke" mod for tf2 that replaces engie's sound vos with bob ross, and i just played around with them cause i got bored? idk what i was trying to do. Anyways i ended up with a space ship. If you speed it up to 4x, you can hear him say "right. " if you rewind it while its sped up, he's trying to eat some food. Also i've given up on making sound effects. So much that i didnt even wanna try and tag this.
