Plastic dice (1) rolling on a piece of paper on a wooden table (to simulate a carton board). Recorded with a se electronics se1 cardioid mic into motu 828mk2 interface, 48khz, pointing at the source, around 30cm away. Small, slightly treated room with reflective walls.

Sound shutter and rapid shooting of old nikon 2020 camera edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).

A murder of crows, loud, right before a rainstorm / an airplane passes overhead. Unintelligible voices in a room nearby. Crickets (late evening) recorded on zoom h6.

I used an my older fantasy sound to create the sound. I recorded it with a tascam dr-05x. To this i added the sound of the storm. In the end, i used reverb fx.

Submarine sonar war - add reverb to suit. Made and inspired during a long dialog clean up session - a random 'ring' in the echo when someone yelled in a room. Snipped it out and was thinking about the 2nd world war submarine type movies and how i would like boris johnson to be torpedoed right now. :d.

Wooden stick: the sound of a wooden stick falling on the floor. It bounces a bit around. Only one stick falling. Recorded with a zoom h6 (rode ntg-2). Recorded in a room with good acoustic. Can be used in the scenario of a drum stick falling down. Or wooded weapon staff.

Crazy computer sounding. . Use it however you like. Created by recording my heater for my room turn on with my "zoom h1n" put into ableton added with a simpler tuned to c and played at really really high pitches randomly.

I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

The guest room i am staying in has a tile bathroom. Each time i take a shower, i hear this magnificent hum of the water heater clicking on and then turning off once the shower water is stopped. I was fortunate enough to hear it click on while i wasn't in the shower and captured about 30 seconds of it before it died. Infinite variation, impossible to replicate. At the end, as the water heater shuts down, it clicks down into the lowest ranges of the frequency spectrum; i didn't hear it until i listened to the recording but the couple of seconds of that are just as magical. Wish i would have left the recorder running!. Captured with a zoom h3-vr to ambix format at 96k24bit and bounced to stereo. Processing: 24db gain to all 4 clips, izotope spectral denoise to get rid of the air in the room and izotope ozone to enhance the bass signal a touch. Enjoy!.

This is a recording taken by a tascam dr-40 interal mics mixed with external sennhesier me-66. Tascam recorded rear exhaust of a stock fr-s on a dynojet while sennhesier recorded engine bay. Mixed to generate what it was like to stand in the room at the side of the car.

This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.

A deep sub kick i made using sylenth and a top kick from one of my personally made libraries. Light compression, equing, and some very slight limiting with plenty of headroom. Leave me some feedback and let me know what you think of it.

In this series of recordings i strike many cook's safety matches, in a small plaster-boarded room. These sounds were recorded with a match pair of rode m5 small diaphragm condenser microphones, into a zoom h4n. These are the raw sound recording with not noise reduction, eq, or compression. I am a completely blind guy, but i still have a passion for these radio-controlled models, in fact this is a recording made inside the room of my apartment in the province of rieti, italy, while i'm flying a radio-controlled micro helicopter. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus stereo microphone.

This recording was made in italy in the province of rieti, inside the room of my apartment, where i am testing a twister ninja 250 mini single-rotor helicopter, where during the recording a small accident is also heard. Recorded with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

A short clip of a wooden door opening, first a high pitch creak, then a low pitch as it's movement slows. Recorded at close proximity with a sennheiser 416 microphone, to a sound devices 552, in a residential, fully attached house, with minimal noise and background but natural ambience and reflection, from a large (bed)room.

I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. Here is a gas meter on a restaurant. I managed to get a chunk without much background noise here but i do change the mic position part way through the recording. . You'll notice it gets darker, then change it back. There's enough of each to get a good loop going as i have in the past. Recorded with a zoom h4.
