My second attempt at field recording footsteps, this time with a boom stick pointing the microphone diagonally at my feet. It sounds much clearer, with less noise reduction than my previous recording.

A small, unnamed stream flows over a bed of rock in the dolomites. Recorded with a zoom h1n a few centimetres away from the water.

The sound has been taken from a man mining a rock. I then reproduced the same sound another couple of times, added effects to it and the result is like a group of people mining.

A chord progression loop i pulled from one of my remixes. Made with stacked synth pad and bass layers, and compiled in reaper.

My dw 13" collectors snare recorded with a shure pg56 on the top and a shure sm57 on the bottom with the phase reversed on the bottom mic. Both mics run through my mackie onyx 1620 mic preamps. The track is uncompressed.

This is a little rock beat pieced together with a paint scrapper, five gallon bucket, and a no. 10 can. Loops. Recorded at 150 bpm. I got really cool results(edm, industrial,. . . ) with various vocoders, delays, distortion.

Heavy reverb and delay effects, low gain guitar. To the point type of licks but then some moody chords to finish it out. Probably best served up in smaller sections.

Stereo recording at quiberon's beach (france) during a moderately windy day. Tascam dr-70d with internal microphones. Some birds and activity in the background. Sound recorded in wav, 24bit @ 44. 1khz.

An assembled drumloop, made out of free oneshot samples and a free vst plugin. The snare has a nice added resonance to it that makes it bang hard and appear quite acoustic for what it is.

A slab of stone continuously moved around on a sandy tiled floor. Might help to create some adventure sounds like big stone doors swinging open, or a stone lock being released. Recorded with my mobile, saved as wav by audacity.
