This sound was made by looping a snare and speeding it up to make a pitch, bc pitch is allegedly just fast rhythm. I like to put special attention into not only the sounds and rhythms used in my work, but also the shape of the tracks itself when looked at in an audio editor. I enjoy working with dc-offsetted sounds, as i believe that, although there is not much of a difference when listened to, they must be picked up differently somehow by the brain.

This was originally composed at the keyboard as an improv on multiple tracks. I sped it up to 210 bpm and ran it through the vita virtual synthesizer as "soundtrack percussion", amps off, s and r filters on and lots of delay. A virtual drum loop with a human touch. Heavy beat. War drums 3 is a faster version of this.

A beat loop i remixed from two other freesound files (btn006. Wav by junggle and light-switch. Aif by dropthedyle). I changed the speed slightly, and pulled together the rhythms so that i could copy-paste or repeat it in audacity without having to trim out hiccups. It's 4/4 time, just a little faster than 60 bpm.
