One of a series of foley recordings i made by sticking a piece of contact (sticky plastic of the kind you use to cover books) to a wall and tearing various household objects off it. The idea was to make a fairly comprehensive collection of rips and tears with varying timbral qualities that i could use to design ui sounds effects. Ancient war-horn type sound, made with plastic water pipe. Recorded on samsung phone, reverb added in audacity.

This is merely the sound of a cd case opening and closing (if anyone is interested, it was the cd for the ending theme of the cross ange anime, sung by eri kitamura, though that doesn't change the sound. . . )this kind of snapping sound can also be used for little things opening and closing. I used this sound for a medicine cabinet sound at one point.

This was a tape cassette and case thrown against a wall, this represents a solid plastic object being thrown or dropped from a height and smashing on the floor with a piece of plastic breaking off and hitting the ground for the 2nd impact.

The sound of a thick plastic bag that screeches when it moves. It was recorded indoors with a mobile phone on february 2018 and it hasn't been processed or altered in any way by any type of software. On the green lines the voice is saying "sound of toy car on a carpet" and that's what actually follows.

I was trying to get some fx for the soundscape of a supermarket riot scene i was doing. For this i recorded the rustling of plastic packets of pasta and rice in my kitchen cupboard. Towards the end i emptied a whole packet of pasta onto the kitchen floor. Recorded using a boss br-600.
