One in of a set of ambient noises created with the tweakbench field vst plugin and the illformed glitch vst plugin. Loopable and suitable for background treatments.
Banging planks of wood together in my back garden. Audible bird noises in sound that will need to be removed. Raw audio, no edits. May be background noise.
Two small mechanical sirens recorded with a h2 recorder in a factory building. One siren is very close, the other in a remote place. You can also hear the sound of a door and ambient noise.
I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.
I thought that i would record some slide playing on my acoustic guitar, and then cut the entire thing down to make up some licks and notes that people can use. I have used noise reduction, because there was some noise.
A mixture of different noise types (pink and white) to create a looping, static-like sound. Could probably be used for lots of games or animations, especially sci-fi ones. Uses the "zero" (no credit) license.
I use the visual programming environment pure data a lot these days in my work. This is a complete electronic/noise piece mixed live from pure data using a korg nanokontrol2. Feel free to break this into pieces if anyone chooses to use, remix, etc. Alonetone. Com/jimgoodinmusic.
Date: 29/9/2017location: hamilton, new zealand. Played this piece with a marine band hohner in the key of c. This was recorded using audacity with macbook pro's built-in microphone. I used audacity's noise reduction feature to drown out the noise in thebackground.
A classic dance-type noise clap. For the sake of an inside joke, i was going to put a lengthy description here, drenched in sarcasm, implying that this was stolen, but that's probably not a smart thing to do.
A busy highway recording from below the road itself at the onset of a truss. Lots of rumble, white noise, reverb from the boundaries of the ground and the steel and concrete above.
Recorded with a hyperdirectional ssh6 capsule - with the stereo mic open at a certain extent - (via the zoom h6) the fireplace's sound has an impressive presence and more space. The avenue noise can be heard as well from time to time.
Door handle in my kitchen looped four times. Recorded with a tascam dr-05x. Noise reduction applied with a dose of vintage warmer. Is it warmer? i don't know.
I recorded a beep that is coming from outside my flat, don't know what it is, perhaps a smoke alarm or a light sensor is in distress. Applied some noise reduction and effects to produce this sound.
