Moderately flowing stream - jack creek in central oregon's cascade mountains flows out of the ground at the base of three fingered jack mountain. The water comes from a glacier on the mountain a couple of miles from where multiple springs create the large creek bubbling up from the dry ground. This recording was done several hundred feet downstream where the creek was already about 50 wide and only about a foot deep. This field recording was made from my villa and this is both rural and situated between two mountain ranges. This is a dirt track in alabama (monster mountain, i think). I didn't realize my recorder kicked on as i was carrying it around in my pocket. The result was some really good audio of a dirt bike race, along with a little bit of small crowd sounds.

During the covid-19 lockdown, i spent some time walking where the city meets a mountain and discovered an area with loud but subtle electric infrastructure wires. These, along with cars, birds, and rustling leaves, are recorded with binaural microphones and cropped down to one minute.
