A field recording of a small cafe/restaurant in my area. I was tucked away in one of the far away tables so the people talking sounded more distant decided to record it as part of my college project. Would make good atmos. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4npro microphone. Hope this helps! :)).

A busy morning in the deep woods in mid april. Recorded in the shawnee forest in illinois on april 15th, 2017 using the sound devices 702 and the stereo microphone, audio technica bp4025. A true stereo recording. The migrating birds have arrived from central and south america. This shows how nature sometimes can be quite loud and busy! pretty cool to listen to with good headphones on.

More rain and distant thunder recorded from an open window. I recorded it with an optimus tape deck and an old microphone (the tape i recorded it on was a maxell ur), i then used audacity and the same tape deck to convert it to digital. If you use it please tell me what you did with it, i would love to know.

A clean raw stereo recording of about a thousand people chatting with each other. No distinct dialogue. Recorded in stereo on an h4n. The microphone was at a far distance from the crowd, so this would be suitable for any scene where you need a crowd to be in the next room or some such. There might be minimal handling noise.

Unprocessed recording of a small gong. I'm not sure about the classification. Captured using a røde nt5 microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Date of the recording: 13/09/2016. Cut in ocenaudio. Running water into a bathtub. The faucet is audibly turned on and off at the beginning and end. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 1 of 2. Originally recorded for a short film where one of the characters takes an off-screen bath. Recorded (if i remember correctly) with a sennheiser mkh-416 microphone into a sound devices 302 mixer.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.

The daniels corporation is erecting a controversial 14-storey condo building on the site. The recording captures the crunches of the demolition equipment tearing out the roof joists of one of the old buildings. Roland r05 sound recorder with sennheiser mke 400 stereo microphone.

This is a short sample from a noise track i just completed. It sounds a lot like someone screaming/roaring into a microphone, but it's actually a roland juno-6 played through various fx pedals (boss metal zone, boss xtortion, boss me-30 on ring mod setting, danelectro fish & chips, and a sprinkling of various other fx pedals throughout the recording). Recorded direct to sound card.

Skype interference or feedback sound effect. Its the sound your computer makes if your speakers are too loud. What happens is that your computer plays the sound coming from the person on the other side and then it plays over there and then plays back on your computer, it builds up in waves. Just turn your sound down and it should go away.

Grudge movie croak sound interpretation. The sound was created using my own voice drawing in air while croaking. It was recorded using mixcraft 6 and a samson q1u microphone. The only effects used were a delay set to long repeat, a touch of reverb while mixing and some compression while recording. But the sound is my voice, in fact all the sounds i upload here are self made. :o).
