Skittles poured into a ceramic bowl. Was recorded with a zoom h5 with the regular microphone, or a korg cm-300. Both mic versions are available here along some merged versions.
Running up stairs - maybe a low shelf here and there will help - definitely a usable recording - nice feel - on a personal note i was very tired at the top - it was 5 flights - tho bad mic handling (removed) on the first few flights.

Slightly resonant clanging and pinging of me hitting the metal stairs of a reviewing stand used in a local parade. The mic is held very close to the surface, so there is very little environmental noise.

- contact mic was attached to the soft plastic box which was laying on the table- the surface of the box was being touched quickly with different pressure- the sound was recorded with pocket roland recorded put in from of the speaker.
