Strange noise that emanated from a barn that was being built on the somerset/wiltshire border. Possibly created by the machine laying the flooring. Also wind, some distant traffic, birdsong.

Electric handheld food mixer. Recorded in a very dry room with a mid-sides mic setup. Mics used were akg 414, and an oktava mk-012-01 pencil condenser.

A noisy fan in a old hotel bathroom, comes on when you hit the light switch. A recording of it constantly humming, could be good for some kind of engine.
